Who have I been talking to on this thing? Movie is at Aviation Mall, 2016 Obama's America
and I can't believe that I have found two other people that told me that they want to see the movie. Both of them voted for Obama the first time and are planning on voting for his this time.

Holiday is on Monday Rosh HASHANAH Leave it to me to celebrate those old Judeo special days. It is the New Year ! Festival of the Harvest. Okay I didn't go out and I didn't have that pizza either ! I'm proud of myself.

I was out yesterday to get blood drawn for my protime. On the way out and back I was also looking for gas. The prices started out at $4.25 and I found it for $4.01 at Ext. 18 Cumby's but right there is a Sub Way Shop and I just had to have a turkey sub. It was so wonderful, just totally great. Couldn't eat the 1/2 so I did share the left overs with the Pups. Then for dinner I had the other 1/2. Again the Pups smiled alot for the chance to share with me.

Today all I have on my mind is Pizza. But if I'm going to do that I only want Harvest, and I just won't drive over there if I don't have to. I need to get to the store, really I think I need to get the veggies in the house and eggs. But just don't want to get into the temptations if I don't have too.

Well I didn't make it to the Movies, I knew that with out much sleep the night before I'd just fall asleep there. And I couldn't ask them to start it over when I woke Up ! LOL When I told my SIL that it was at the Mall she didn't say anything about wanting to go see it so I'm not counting on them going with me.

Do you believe the world events this week. Thinking that I'd better step up prayer for the Nation a little.
Do you have Monday off? It is a Holiday you know !

Yes, I really have to get more, I do have some of my cut up cucs socking left but they just don't seem to cut it when You really can't get your brain to let go of the "cake" idea !

Thinking that I was doing something right I got from the deli a thing called crunchy salad. I should have know that there would be sugar in it some how . It is very good, has wonderful things in it like sun flower seeds, broccili, cauliflower, carrots, etc raisins! Ever since I had that salad I have been craving cake! I have been able not to go out of the house, but worry for tomorrow I have to go to the store. Maybe if I eat a dill pickle before I go shopping ?

Well, last week I didn't have any change in my weight or inches! It was a shock, but I have gotten over it and moved forward. I have to say that having some of the foods that I have not had in over 8 weeks has left me wanting more of them. I know that it isn't a good idea, but I have been able to keep my blood sugars down. I have lost 1 # & 3 " so far for Sept. That leaves me with needing to crack down on myself due to the need to lose 5 more #'s this month.

Confession time, I have been out twice for dinner with Richard and I have great expectations only to fall apart and order my ususal. Hamburger & fries. I don't eat the roll, and I only eat 10 fries giving the rest either to Richard or the Pups the next day . I have to learn to order only what I can eat and remain in the healthy eating patterns that I have been setting for myself. Until the next time I go out to eat! I'm working hard at finding things that I know they have and I can order without putting the cook out ! Last night he came out of the kitchen to ask me exactly what I wanted and I should have told him keep the roll and build the burger on top of a bed of lettuce and tomato with a little oinion ! And a dill pickle ! LOL

My September Goals:
30 minutes of activity/day including stretching
Protein at every meal 6-8 servings/day
Drink my water!
Limit pasta to once/week, other starches 2 servings/day
Write every bite!
Remove crackers, pretzels, ricecakes from my diet for September

I am setting the goal of getting below 170 pounds by the end of September. I was actually doing better at losing weight while on vacation and now that I am home have to be more watchful of calories. I am not getting as much exercise now. I guess that is something that needs to change in the near future.

Last month I wasn't pushing myself and played it safe so that I would hopefully make the goal that I set. As much as I was happy to met my personal goal, I was over joyed to have past my goal weight loss goal.

So for Sept I'm going to shoot for the moon and look for a 6 pound weight loss. I'm going to do this by eating under 150 carbs., keeping my blood sugars under 120, and doing 4 15 minute workouts daily. 30 mins of walking the Pups, 15 mins on the bike, and another 15 mins on the health walker/resistance. I'm also planning on starting up the strength trainning once again. I have not done any in over a week and I know how good it is to build up the muscles and it is the muscles that burn up the fat ! Hope that some of the rest of you will join in on the goal setting and help me make it to my personal goal at the end of Sept by dropping by and giving encouragement ! Thanks in advance for the help !!

Well once again trying to get some activity here on the 518 Team ! Drop by and set a goal that you would like to personally like to meet by the end of Sept.
Judy was working on losing weight and I also was looking to lose weight.
We can check in on each other and give motivation to help each other make it to our personal goals.
