I am vegan, too, but eat all raw fruits and vegetables. I find that eating the raw foods I can eat as much as I want and does not help me to gain weight. I have lost 48 lbs since I became a vegetarian in November and then a vegan in May. I am 12 pounds from the goal that my nutritionist set for me, but I read that your body sets your goal for you and you won't lose any more weight when you reach that goal.I have just recently added beans back in and had a black bean burger on two grilled mushrooms for a reunion recently and it was pretty good.I do not suffer from hunger and do not have cravings since I have started eating the greens and salads. I use coconut oil, too. That is the only oil that I use. Olive Oil is all fat and does not do me any good, so I eliminated it.

This sounds doable. I think the portion control is key. Making sure you are eating enough of some kind of protein with your balanced meals and snacks should keep you full.

Honestly, I cook with coconut oil (use it for baking too), depending on the dish and I have not found a single drop of weight change, so I personally can't say that it really helps losing weight!
As to the fiber, I'm vegan and eat a lot of beans (high in fiber!) and still have to eat every 3 hours or I'm hungry! If I eat a balanced meal of vegetables (greens), starch like potatoes or pasta and some protein like beans, I'm full for a good time! For snacks I eat fruit and often have a handful of almonds (no more than 24!) or walnuts (no more than 7 halves) with it too, that keeps me full as well!

Was just talking to a nutryionist and found on ww I was eating a lot of lite foods but starving she recommends high fiber and coconut oil to replace olive oil actually more whole foods less diet or light foods. Says I will lose weight as long as I'm aware of portion size and still work out what's your input on this
