I have been doing Callanetics since the 1989 and I adore it.When folks ask me how can you do the same routine for years and still get results. I have to smile. Callanetics evolves around you and your needs and passion. There is no reason to leave the routine unless you just want to. Here are some suggestions on how shake it up a bit... Boredom can be the number 2 reason behind a workout regime failing, right behind injuries. So lets examine how we can keep Callanetics fresh and challanging...

1. Change your timing count They say timing is everything so play with it..Slow down the count, dont worry about the count.. dont get hung up on numbers. It is not the numbers that make you fit, it is the intensity that you bring, the challange that you take to the task that brings results.
2. Impliment the extra movements from the advanced version. Replace a regular movement with an advanced movement every day, change it up, make it interesting!
3.Tilting deeper than you think you possibly can , the tinier and more controlled the movement, the harder the muscle is worked.
4. Do a session of Super Callanetics once a week
5.Take a week off (believe it or not sometimes this is just what we need to kick start progress again.)
6. Finally use the tools you have learned everyday in you movements, stand taller, tilt your pelvis under, lift your head high...

Callanetics can be implimented all through your daily movements preventing injuries while stimulating healthy rejuvination to your body mind and spirit.
