Finished Week 2 with a strong '2 pounds down' move into Week 3. Did two extra videos.. one upper and one lower body during the week. Again.. REALLY happy for the Challenge, to get back on track with regular exercise after the holidays.

I'm now a week behind you all, but I won't let that get me down. Last week was a bust because of illness, but I'm going to get through week two and smile whilst I do it!

Life has been busy and I've amped up my ST so it was a struggle to get in all of my cardio, but I did it. I'm still not meeting my nutritional goals on a consistent basis but I must be doing something right because I did lose 1.1 lbs (6.3 since the 1st).

Determined to finish January strong, and hoping for a 10 lbs loss (only 3.7 to go). I'm adding more cardio minutes in W3! I'm also going to focus on those freggies and really try to stay within my goals.

I did well this week, in the exercise room riding the bike or walking on the treadmill 30 minutes every day. I wish I could do the lower body videos but that is impossible with my arthritis. I need to be doing more upper body work so that is my goal in week three. Good Challenge!

The second half of the week I did need to double up on a few days. The cold weather finally hit and I suddenly preferred the 'snooze' button in the early morning hours!!

I have not failed. I am simply finding my limitations and will work to learn from them !
Still taking one day at a time!

I started the 2nd week off strong, but toward the end of the week I had to double up on a couple of the videos because I was busy. But I did do all the videos for the week and finished all the activities. Yay!

I feel weak. I have only lost 3 lbs. I Track everyday. Meeting my Protien requirements everyday and most of the other nutrients on most days. I am still having a lot of pain, cramps and jerking in my legs. Shouldn't my body be adjusted by now??

Week 2 was rough...I love to get outside to run or walk and the weather did not co-operate. I live 30 minutes from work, so I had to stay at my Mom's for a night. To top it off this week, work was absolutely crazy. I had to put in extra hours three times and came home very tired. But the upside of it is that I still managed to lose almost two pounds and my attitude changed Before I would say the heck with it and give up. Not this time! I'm here beginning week three and picking myself up again.

I managed to get in a little bit of cardio each day but wednesday. I also figured out a way to get the videos done...I had to do them out order a little...there are a couple of videos I can do at work and so I saved them...I also managed to get 2 extra videos in which I thought was going to be too hard...but I did it. I need this challenge because it is helping me make time for exercise!

Thanks so much!

I finished week two strong. My cardio was either the treadmill or a swim. My bonus videos were the Butt Blaster and the Resistance band for the upper body/arms. I can feel the extra burn from these new videos. It has changed up my workouts to use the SP videos.

I am ready for week 3. emoticon

I'm 2 days behind on the videos, and couldn't quite do 30 minutes of cardio each day, but I'm off the couch and moving and losing weight, so all in all it's a great challenge for me.

Well, I've done my work! I stuck through with the second week, which was a challenge with school starting back. I am hoping things will go better next week, now that I have the majority of days scheduled, lol. Scheduling definitely keeps me on track. I feel guilty for slacking on my tracking here, though I have been going back and filling in my tracking that I have done.

Love the videos though, Nicole! Just as my abs were starting to feel good from last week... they're killing me again! Lol

Week 2 done! It was a struggle; twice I finished my workouts after 11 pm. I had two funerals to go to in one week and due to the travel time, it just couldn't be avoided. I am proud of myself for staying consistant. I lost two lbs during week one, and as of yesterday I had lost 4 lbs. during week two. I feel better physically and mentally!

I'm just happy that I'm keeping up with this challenge. I just finished week 2. It's been a struggle though. I'm in mourning for my 18 yr old cat I had to put to sleep last Friday. Even though exercising is the last thing I want to do, I'm pushing myself to do it and it is keeping me afloat. I probably feel better emotionally besides physically than if I didn't bothered to do it at all.

So thank you for having this challenge, I think it's helping me out more than I thought it would!

Good for you all! I definitely am on a short hiatus as I was hospitalized for a lung infection early this week and am recouping. Believe me, I was shocked as I'm not normally sick but this was more than a cold and wheezing. I couldn't BREATHE!

But on the upside, while the antibiotics are doing their work, I am enjoying long leisurely relaxing stretches and staying limber to work back to full force. Let's not underestimate the usefulness of just continuing to move and be aware of our bodies. Makes all the difference!

Still on track, but this week was not nearly as successful as last week. I fell behind on the videos: One day I just couldn't manage the strength training (I made it up by doing two videos the next day), and another day my internet went down, so I couldn't get to that day's video! As before, I made it up by doing two videos the next day, but that leaves me more sore and tired so I don't want to put as much effort into cardio.

But at least cardio is going well! I dug out the PS2 so I could play DDR again (my Red Octane mats are not PS3-compatible), and I've been doing that about three times a week. It's a killer workout, but it's fun. :)

Is it just me, or do I already see a difference?? My arms are so much stronger and more defined than they were two weeks ago! I just got back to school on Tuesday, so I've been using the elliptical for cardio instead of the treadmill in my basement at home. About time, too, because I had just started developing a shin splint on my right leg that was pretty painful. I'm preparing for exams right now so getting the videos in can be difficult, but they're so short and effective that I can juuust squeeze them into my busy schedule. Feeling fit already! emoticon

This week was better than last week in that I didn't skip exercising any day of the week. I didn't do as many fitness minutes some days as I did others, but I kept moving! I need to work on my diet more as well as my sleep habits that should help increase the weight loss. Been doing great with all my water! emoticon

My bonus video was the arm toning video we actually already do as part of the challenge - oopsie! I want to improve my arms so it works.

Have a great week ahead everyone!

Finished Week 2, Day 14...it's been a good week. I did the videos each day and walked on the treadmill 30 minutes a day or at the track for about 50 minutes one day. Food wise I had a good week. Tracking was difficult on some meal but I tracked as much as I could and I am getting more comfortable with the nutrition tracker on here and adding more foods to my favorites. At the same time I write down everything I eat in my journal. I keep track of if I took my vitamins, my water intake, and my amount of exercise as well as meals and snacks. I am ending this week feeling very positive about my progress. I started at 155.8 the first day and I am ending the week at 151.6. I am ready to go into the 3rd week and anxious to see what the next step of the challenge will be.

Week 2 in the books!! My 2 bonus workouts were the chair cardio (Tuesday) and the arm workout with the resistance band (today). I missed exercise on day 5 so made up the cardio and video today. I had 2 specific goals this week:
1) do each daily video 2X - Check!
2) stay within my calorie range every day this week - didn't quite get this one as I had a few drinks with friends one evening and the following day a pre-tailgate party at work. Stayed within my ranges 5 of 7 days. However, I did a much better job planning meals this week and am excited about next week! My "veggie hater" DH is out of town so kids and I will work hard on getting in those fruits and veggies for week 3.

Will see what the scales tell me in the morning and get geared up for week 3. Thank you Sparkpeople for this motivating challenge!!

I'll be honest - lost time - did not do the video yesterday and to achey today - this morning I did a new Leslie Sansone 5 mile walking video that included strength training with a resistance band - and I got a very good workout cause I'm feeling it now. Just tried to do the crunches and it was hard on my back - even holding my back to the floor. Did two extra videos earlier in the week.
