Congratulations! Being pregnant is such a blessing even if you don't think so right now. I felt the same way when I found out I was expecting yet again. I now have three kids with the oldest being three yrs. My second child is a year and a half and my littlest one is three months. I was happy but also frustrated because I had worked so hard to lose the baby weight and then some. So for me I continued to eat healthy meals and snacks. I was able to preplan mot of them and have them set up in advance (disposable baggies work well for this) and I continued to exercise as I normally did. I still lost weight while I was pregnant but losing weight wasn't my goal. Being healthy was my goal and a side effect of being healthy was losing some weight. Though I will say by 7 or so months along it all went out the window and I did gain about 20 labs because baby started to put on weight and I literally couldn't get enough to eat.

I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy. I hope my words help to brighten your day. Oh and remember you don't have to eat 25 labs of food to gain 25 labs. The weight will naturally come as baby grows. In the beginning baby is very small so your weight gain should be small.

Yes, I know, I'm awesome, thanks!

I was told to discuss my goals on the week 4 forum, well when I started this challenge my goal was to loose the Christmas weight, and go back to maintenance. The challenge itself was kind of mellow compared to my normal work outs, but work got real busy and I was coming home late and the challenge kept me going. About a week and a half ago I found out I am pregnant. There are days I feel it is so pointless, I'm tired from the hours, I want to eat everything, cause I'm cold all the time (work in a fridge so that doesn't help) and I'm just going to get fat anyways right? But I want a baby bump a healthy baby bump not a wide load. So I keep going, and that will be my new goal. Keep going, keep the spark in my healthy bump. Feed the little one properly, and maintain my body the best I can (without endangering the bean).
And on a side note I REALL REALLY hope I win that amazon draw, I need a crib, car seat, etc
