First of the month and must keep accountable for weight and blood sugars
Personal health issues : aging 70th year, heart stents, advanced neuropathy, pre-diabetic, celiac - Goals are JOY in living, be the best I can be, maintain mobility if possible.
Jan 1 204# to start the year
Feb 1 204# bounced up to 207 but stable for new month
Mar 1 206# Scared when I bounced clear up to 210 with 70th birthday celebrations

Sadly, average steps per day has dropped to 1500.

Still yo-yo day to day and week to week but Drum roll..... counting Jan 2 as my starting weight for 2019 at 204.2 down from 208 January 2018 so 3.8 pound down ...small but better than gaining and I recognize much healing in my body other than the scale numbers.

First goal is still ONEDERLAND 199.5
Next goal will be 10 pounds to 190 then 180 then 170 then 160 and maintain.... not planning to ever drop below 155 - my wedding weight 40 years and two pregnancies ago!

Feeling frustrated with the yo-yo of scales up and down half pounds and one pounds day to day. this week's Tuesday reading was 204 do up that day and down the next I would prefer to only weigh once a week but the congestive heart failure Dx requests that I do daily weights and notify Dr if pound increase overnight - Thankfully I rarely have that trouble - just not loosing!!!

Weigh-in yesterday 203.0 I so want to get it down under 200 but if I keep an even keel and healthy blood sugars I will be thankful.
Sadly I am loosing more mobility to due neuropathy and arthritis and had to bring the walker back out for afternoons in the house. Will keep exercises and stationary bike going and pray to keep walking some for a long time to come

Oh Kay, do not lose heart! Your Bah humbug made me smile.
10/23 First day back from vacation and I weighed in at 205.5# but am ok with that since my blood sugars stayed well within my goals.

10/24update that this morning was back to pre-vacation weight at 204.5 - yeah!!! forward ho!!!

10/30 Tues weigh-in 204 and really bloated from inflammation of stress and wonder if I got some gluten - gotta check labels again.

October Starting at 203.6#... Would sure love to see 199.5 before daughter's wedding Nov. 3 - but don't see how I can do that and vacation 10 days of it - but will continue to work at it steady as I go...keeping blood sugars down if first goal and weight is second goal and if I do that all gluten free and anti-inflammatory, I will automatically meet my healthy heart goals.

9/17 weigh-in Tuesday 203# I have seen 202.6 and .4 a few times but not enough to claim them as official low weight yet [I follow the principle of having the same lower for three times in one week to count it as wt. GONE]

Weigh-in 9/6/18 is 181.4 or -.2 ( thankful for a digital scale). More roller coaster riding with the scales, as is common for me and I think most folks; will not be a stickler about Wednesday weigh-in. Have observed importance of daily exercise, better for me if time is split.

Life is busy but I too must be accountable.
Tuesday is my usual day So 8/21 and I saw a drop to 205.2# Fasting blood sugar 98 which is first time on goal of under 100 for many days - I am fighting the Diagnosis of Pre-Diabetic.

Experiencing such a roller coaster ride with my weight and so much inflammation pain (hip, knees, hands), I NEED accountability. I read on several sites that Wednesday is the most accurate day to weigh oneself. So on Wed., 8.22.18, starting back trying to seriously figure out what the anti-inflammation diet looks like on a long term daily basis... it was 185 for me.

July and the weight still is staying about the same - up a couple down a couple... but I consistently feel good in my tummy and am thankful for that - feel less inflammation after the fibro flare last month got back in control. Still working the hardest on the Pre-diabetic learning and decreasing carbs

Month of May was still playing cat and mouse with a few pounds up and then down then up again. Tried the egg fast which did dropped me to 206 for a day but then back up and over with fibromyalgia pain flare and having to go on meds that confuse my mind and body both and up to high for several days again.
Fri 6/01 209# FBS 106
Tues 6/05 209# FBS 114
Fri 6/08 210# FBS 106
Tues 6/12 210# FBS 110
Wed 6/13 FBS 100 but wt up 210.5# Meds for fibromyalgia flare may be messing with weight and FBS so watching and trying to take good care of me - back down to half dose so net week should be showing efforts again.
Tues. 6/20 209 keep on trying to lose - one day at a time.
Tues 6/26 209# Blood sugar a lovely 99...one of my few under 100 but I know it can happen and am encouraged.

238 and holding steady down from around 248 recently, before I started IF, and definitely down from 260 from when I came off rapid acting insulin which was about a year ago.

Weigh-in for me is every Tuesday and the first day of each month ... have been running 208#
04.01 -208.8# sadly is up almost a pound to 208.8# - have been on vacation to Alaska = STRESSS , even good stress is hard on weight hormones plus too many carbs available
04.03 - 208.4# Working on dairy free this month - learning to read labels for another food group
04.04 - 207.4# Not a regular weigh -in but wanted to give a shout out - it is heading down! 04.10 - 208
04.17 - Out of town with Daughter - too many carbs
04.19=209# but maintained gluten free and dairy free and felt good - blood sugars went p and interesting I do not have any physical signals of high or low except increasing brain fog if multiple days!!! Learning this Pre Diabetic and other health issues combined
04.24 -209.5# up and down up and down - so tired of no real change ... friend suggests that I state my short term goal and say how many pounds to goal ....hummm so my goal is under 200 # or 199.5 for three days and claim it ...that means 10# ro goal --- will think on this for the week and consider changing ticker on the first of MAY

Weigh-in for me is every Tues and first of every month.

March 1 208# ...still the same except that Dr. Office says 205#
March 6 208#...fluctuated with fluid retention some days but just not seeing real gains/losses.
March 13 207#...have seen it five days this week so am claiming it - heading DOWN!!!!
March 20 209#...might be fluid - I think I have been on course with foods but no naps and might be doing too much salt.
March 27 last day of vacation trip to Alaska - no scales - no weighing and no control on carbs the last couple days so will be high - will check in on the first of April and see where I am

January 1, 2918 official weight is 208# - some congestive heart failure water retention but this is today's weight regardless!!!
Tuesday is usual weight day:
1/02 207# less swelling and feeling better till I exercised
1/03-05 - having some water retention /CHF symptoms and not feeling well - back to better levels Saturday morning and trusting this flare is going away.
1/09 208# feeling sleepy and a bit depressed - lower carbs might be adding to this?
1/16 207.0# feeling positive and healthy!!! exercise is going well, eating healthy and happy
1/23 208.0# feeling good eating fairly well and maintaining within a pound up or down

Dec 12 was weigh in day - 207.5#
Dec 13 have to share seeing 207# this morning ... Beginning to think I might still see the 199 by Christmas morning...Will keep working faithfully - I don't get enough activity to burn many calories but also keeping the mobility up the best I can - The neuropathy is worse weekly and I must be careful to NOT fall - it is a day by day challenge but I will keep fighting he good fight.

Lost 2 of the vacation pounds Starting @208# and still want to see ONEderland by Christmas.
OTHER Plannings for me this month :
***LOW CARB Successfel day would be under 20g on MWF and under 50g S-T-Th-S
***Steps on pedometer starting at 3000 again Goal of 5500 by Jan 1 some will be on seated elliptical, stationary bike and treadmill which I finally got back on this week - goal to increase 1 minute each of three days per week
*** flights of 13 stairs - up and down...the stairs are really painful and slow again - I need to keep a level of mobility that includes them as laundry is downstairs and also church which is very important in my life is two story building.

Nov 22 207.5`# 1st day after Egg Fast down 2.5 pounds during this 5 day fast

I am really stiff and sore lately - more in the joints than fibro so am calling it arthritis inflammation but not sure... so slow and painful in hips and knees and feet - wondering if this is another stage in the neuropathy issue? Just keep plugging along and will try to keep mobile.

*** flights of 13 stairs - up and down...got all three in today y - I need to keep a level of mobility that includes them

Nov 17 - cannot seem to keep the weight down... back up to 210# the last to days and starting a 5-day-egg-fast.

Nov 7 Tuesday is weigh-in day for me Still 210# and still want to see ONEderland by Christmas.

Nov 1 Accounting ***gained 4-6 # last month with vacation travel and foods
Starting @210# and still want to see ONEderland by Christmas.

Weigh in for October 2017 First day of month and then each Tuesday morning.
[ 01/01/17 I was 206# Down from Wt of 238# in 5/15]
YoYo Back and forth with pounds since then...Sep 1 was 207 ,,,saw 203# once and claimed 204# on 9/12 and other days through the month.

Oct 01 206# so officially lost one pound last month. Keep pressing on for health.
Oct 03 206#
Oct 10,17 on vacation and not going to weigh away from home
Oct 24 210# so 4 gained on vacation still have a week+ of appointments and travel this mo. - Heart Dr pleased with healthy heart ... that I credit to the loss of weight and anti-inflammatory diet and the blessings of the good Lord.

Weigh-in for month of September 2017 [Down from Wt of 238# in 5/2015] Tuesday = my routine weigh in day 9/01 207# official loss of .5# in August

9/12 204.0# and CLAIMING this one ---saw it 3 times this week so it is mine!!!!

9/19 Tues weigh in - 205# - just seem to be settled on this number - but will stay faithful to efforts and see some successes on the scale and more on my body being healthier!
Edit on 9/21 yeah...back down to the "owned 204#"

9/26 206# 9/27 205# have been yo-yoing again - rebelliously ate some gluten and sugar and caused major inflammation water retention for a few days but easing back down again.

9/05 203.6# New low for me but may have been dehydrated a bit ...will keep working and get water in and carbs out of my diet as I learn this LOW CARB Life style. ALso this is a first for this number so will not claim it as a weight ...just a possible

July 1 209# did see up to 212# on June19 Study&practice Keto diet START KETO diet 10%Carb, 30%Protein, 60%Fat ... Net carbs below 20 is goal
7/04 209# then jumped a couple pounds with congestive feelings in chest - heat response I think but must watch and wait and see - not feeling so chipper!!!
7/11 207# stop KETO - Dr orders - concentrate on anti-inflammatory.
7/17 206.5# Been re-evaluating foods - though not Keto going to keep lower carb and concentrate on good fats and moderate proteins .. working at getting in fermented foods, beans, berries daily...would like to find ways to get in more fiber
7/25 206.4 haha - every little bit helps ...the exciting part is I did see 204.4 once this week!!!

Linda - what an amazing recovery! Sorry the dairy and sugar are an issue, but I'm sure you'll overcome those too.

I wasn't able to walk Monday or yesterday too emoticon and emoticon , but otherwise keeping fairly level.
