emoticon I am rocking! Lost another 2 pounds this week. That is 2 weeks in a row that I lost 2 pounds for the week. Big difference from the slow and steady 1 pound every week. That is 5 pounds down from my last April weigh-in. And I broke another decile barrier. I am now 179 pounds and 23 pounds from maintenance.

Weight: 171 lbs, one more pound lost this week, and I worked hard for that pound...gym time plus a ton of gardening and tracking 6 days.
Total of 3 pounds since May 4, so I am very pleased with results, thus far.
Can't wait for week 3!

It seems that I'm finally off the plateau, and have lost a couple of pounds this week. I'll have to check, but probably 4 since I started the challenge. I don't have 20 to lose (I'm down 25 since joining SP, and 16 since I really started concentrating and blogging), but am playing anyway!

I weigh in on Thursdays and haven't documented yet - woops! Despite a week full of emotional eating debacles, I managed to keep my regular exercise regimen and weighed in exactly the same at 188. So I'll take it!

I am doing my pool exercises 2x a week. I slacked off 1 day for the last 2 weeks.
I am not eating right. I am not even reaching my nutrition goals for the day in calories(1200) I usually come in around 1000. I am just not hungry. I am eating almonds or pistachios to get my fats in and cottage cheese and greek yogurt to get my protein.

I love SparkPeople

181 this week. Down another 2.5. I guess that makes it a good week even though it didn't feel so great. I felt stressed, and tired, and was sure I was going to have a gain this week. I'm not complaining, I just don't get it. emoticon

I weigh myself every morning but the Friday weigh-in is the one that counts. This week I weighed 181 pounds, a 2 pound loss. I have lost 3 pounds since the beginning of May

I like the Tuesday idea better since i have set the goal of not weighting at home for a 100days as i find my self weighting more than once a day so my goal one time a week at the gym that is when they had the weight ins for the challenge they had going. i like the change so for me it a Tuesday weight in

5/16 one day late but a woo hoo moment the scales moved down ward 2 pounds need to watch my mindless eating so that's why my Friday pick will be plan next weeks snacks and eat them and nothing more.

S.W. on Friday May 4: 174 lbs.
Today: 172 lbs
I have been tracking food and have increased my activity, so it is definitely paying off.
I am making sure I have that afternoon snack of protein and fruit.

Hey guys,

I'm late in posting this week. Weight stayed the same at 245 on 5/7.
Last week was a little crazy with several days of banquets and such (my kids graduate from high school this month). Anyway I stayed under on my calories everyday but at some meals I ate almost half of my calories for the day. Sooo I have learned that I need to be sure and spread my calories out more; I will have to plan better on the days that we have events that include eating.

No Change this week, still 309.6, considering my calories got bumped down and I missed it so I went over most of the week and only one day of exercise due to a hip injury I sure can't complain about staying the same.

I tend to think of my weight within a range of about 5 pounds. The scale goes up, the scale goes down, always within the same range. Sometimes the number is frustratingly big and at the high end of the range, sometimes it sinks temptingly lower making me begin to believe I will soon see even lower numbers. What geographic feature is bigger than a plateau? I've been stuck like gum to the bottom of a shoe!

When I agreed to join this group, the scale started to cooperate with my weight loss plan. I saw a number that was lower than the numbers in my stuck range. Being the skeptical type, I thought the number wouldn't show up again. But it has. The number is 2 pounds less than the lowest number in that "old" range. I believe in the power of the group!!!

I weighed in at 183.5 today which is a pound down. It was a good week. I did my Boot Camp videos every day and so far did the day one week one challenges for this lovely summer team as well. emoticon

Starting weight last week was 311.6 scale this morning 5/4/12 said 309.6 exactly two pounds, and that is with eating 1/2 a large popcorn and a large coke while sitting on my behind at the midnight showing of Avengers emoticon

I love Apollo 13!

Everyone is doing so well. yay team!

I weigh in once a month but I will report fitness progress weekly. My starting weight today is 318. I lost 4 pounds since my April weigh in, so I am starting the challenge with momentum. yay! Losing 20 pounds in 100 days will put me under 300. I am soooooo ready for that day!

So, I will update weight monthly & fitness weekly. I will time my mile tomorrow & aim to shave a few seconds off time each week. emoticon I am doing a 10K on July 4th & I'm ready to go! Love the summer!!

I started with Sunday weigh-ins, but might change that to more mid-week. Tuesday mornings, say. In the past week I dropped 4.3 lbs, which puts me back on the glidepath to weigh zero by Thanksgiving 2013.

I had been shallowing up on that trajectory for a month, sort of like the Apollo 13 Command Module coming home without the ballast of moon rocks (who saw the classic movie?).

To weigh-in Tuesdays also makes the final weigh-in the morning after Labor Day, which has something to be said for it. Thoughts?

It's Tuesday, not Sunday, but, I weigh every day and I've weighed the same since Sunday.

ALSO, today is the first day of the month = May 1st - which I like even better.

So - official weight = 239

Looking forward to reporting a drop in pounds come Sunday, May 6th!

I usually weigh on Fridays, will try and shift to Sunday's my weigh in on 4/27 so effectively my starting weight if we are starting May 1st is 311.6. emoticon

Well I am up 2 pounds from my last posting! Not a good way to start, but it is a true reflection of why I need to be on the team!

For sure, weigh in next Sunday will improve!

So weigh-in was good! Down another 1.8 on my ticker, but 3.8 total, since my ticker weight was not truly reflective of my challenge start weight! Finally, heading the right direction! emoticon

This week I lost 2.1 pounds putting me at 189.5 (I haven't been this weight for 6 years!!)
