That sucks. I don't go to B&N often. We also have a Books-A-Million here. I prefer BAM over B&N.

Back from Barnes&Nobel's Marvel Day

How UNmarvelous. I had a B&N gift certificate so I thought I'd pick up something marvel related. Here is the exciting Marvel Day party: ONE table with an entry form to win a cheap tote bag and an order form for Marvel books on their nook ereader. Well, I don't have an ereader that I use for reading...I like real books. I don't need another tote bag. That's it. Nothing else. Nothing. There was one child there in an iron man costume that was very sad looking (since there was NOTHING going on). SAD. There wasn't even an employee at the table. There was more merchandise on the Frozen table from yesterday's frozen party. No wonder B&N is going bankrupt. lame.

The site has $35, $45, $45, $45, and $30 for Preview night, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I didn't see weekend passes listed.

How much is the San Diego CC?
Barnes and Noble is having a special "Marvel Day" this Saturday(August 2nd). I think that will be my comic-con for this year.

I hope you have fun at Dragon-Con!

San Diego sells out quickly. I'm not sure about the cost. I have seen where Comic Con moves from city to city throughout the year. I read online attendance at the SDCC is between 145,000 - 160,000. Dragon*Con is between 49,000 - 60,000 depending on the day. For comparison, Dragon*Con is going for $130 for the weekend pass right now. I bought my pass last year during Labor Day week for $65. It increases incrementally as we get closer to the event.

One of these years, I want to go to Comic-con. I wonder how much it costs to attend? And, is it difficult to get tickets to get in? I don't do well in crowded environments.

Slow, but sure.

Thanks! Last year at this time when San Diego Comic Con was going on I decided I wanted to attend a convention. Atlanta is just a quick drive down I-75. I checked it off my bucket list and had a blast.

I'll be heading to Atlanta in just over a month for Dragon*Con. This is my second year to attend. I was wondering if there were any other D*C goers in the forum?
