Weight seems to have taken a sideways trend just around my goal weight - too early to tell but maybe this time I reach a natural plateau, rather than falling out of my range at the lower end.

I had a mega binge last Monday, after the weigh in; all my efforts afterwards only got me a 0.7 lb loss for the week. Got to remember this next time I am tempted to cave in…..

My weight looks like it dropped too much but that is just because the previous weeks were up because of salt. I weigh every day and I have a clear picture of my range. I have been going lower steadily through this group reading. Thanks Team!

Not the slight downward trend I hoped to see, it is basically sideways.
I wait and see if weight goes down to around 58 kg,
if not I'll cut my calorie intake slightly: decrease my grains/legumes portion from 220 grams to 200 grams. That should be sufficient. Maintenance is fine tuning, slight changes of +-100 calories can turn the trend.

22/10/2018 187 I stayed the same. Looked at the numbers: average calories 30 cal. over the top of my range. Average exercise :30 min. a day. This coming week I will work on staying within my caloric range and increase my exercise time, and hope that this will make a difference. If not, I will have to lower my calorie intake.(at least regular tracking is enabling me to analyze the situation. Credit!!!)

This is my weight graph in the past 6 months - so much fluctuations while the overall trend is flat, the extreme high-s are related to travel, eating salty food, or just hormonal changes.
Just as my flat trend is visible only looking at several weeks, so too, weight loss trend may be visible after some time, too!

Very interesting, because on two days I ate normal portions,
and the other 2 days we did long hikes (3 and 6 hours) on the hills and skipped lunch, so surely didn't eat more than normal... but meals were very salty. We shall see next Monday, but I expect to be back to center weight.

My weight was all over the place last week. It varied by a range 4 pounds up and down. I am eating according to plan and I don't think this is a problem.

Day 8 off sugar. Now for me that is a very big deal

I weigh in every day, too. I find it keeps me on track, but it also satisfies my nerdy numbers side.

So i will post here on Mondays too, even though the real start for me was when Mary courageously agreed to post on this thread last Saturday- my weight was even higher then-. (Thank you Mary!!!!!)


1/10/2018: 188.8 (I actually weigh in *every day* and write it down, so this is how i know)

My starting weight is 58.5 kg, almost the center of my maintenance range.
