I would check with your doctor soon. Since you have started a different medication adjustments may need to be made.

Looks like you may be undermedicated. The reference range is quite broad, usually used to diagnose. However, most people feel better with a TSH around 1 to 1.5. Read up on optimal TSH and hypothyroid symptoms, then ask your DR for an increase in Armour

I am hypo/hashimotos for 10+ years now. My doc and I do blood work 1x per year or more if needed. We check TSH, Free T3 and Free T4. I've been taking 75mcg levo and 5mcg of liothyronine for about 2 years. I've been becoming more symptomatic lately and at most recent exam asked to be switched to Armour. After bloodwork, which showed T3 and T4 at about 45% of ref range I was put on Armour 60mg. After about 10 days I developed right foot pain, which appears to be planters fasciitis. I have never had this before. Per dr google it appears this is related to Thyroid. Does this mean I need an increase or decrease in dosage? The T3 scares me a bit, but I want to feel better. My mother has very occasional bouts of Afib and father died of massive heart attack.

Name // Reference Range // 10/31/18 Results // 10/30/17 Results
TSH // 0.450-4.500 // 3.65 // 2.88
(T3), Free // 2.0-4.4 // 3.2 // 2.5
T4,Free(Direct) // 0.82-1.77 // 1.23 // 1.17

I'm also 49 and probably premenopausal

Thanks for your input.
