I have said all of those things to myself.i need to change the self talk and become more positive. I will focus on being my own best friend today.

These thoughts are a habit that many emotional eaters use. The thoughts have often actually become PART of the cycle of overeating and thus actually make it more likely to repeat the overeating at another later time! Learning to interrupt that cycle at ANY point in the pattern helps weaken it. Be gentle with yourself while you learn to first accept them for what they are, old misguided habits, and then let them go.
