Yeah I'm with you. The Elliptical calibration, even high intensity, doesn't come close to having the same data as the elliptical machine tells me. Oh well!

I've actually had my tracker not even see my cycle event. I had to input it manually. I find that it's fairly inaccurate, at the gym, anyway. Options to "calibrate" aren't very many, not sure why?

Thanks for the tip, MaryAlice411! I will give that a try and see if it helps with the discrepancy!

I'll have to try that. I have the same problem. I can ride for 60 min and it tells me I went 9 miles but the spark maybe gives me credit for 3?

I always get really low milage on the recumbent bike. I always reclassify to the the speed that I did and the mileage comes out close to right. I stay between 13 and 14 miles am hour. SP has a 12-13 and a 14 to 15. I reclassify to 12 to 13 miles an hour and it is rely close.

Hi -
I have noticed when I wear my SPAT during my occasional bike events at the gym that the mileage the SPAT gives me credit for is quite different than that given by the bike itself -- monitor/evaluation.

Most recently, this past Thursday 4/10/14, the bike recorded that for my 26 minute ride, I traveled 4.04 miles and my average speed was 9.3 mph and 262 kcal burned; I did input my age/weight and had the setting at 9 for the resistance during all but minutes 24 - 26.

The SPAT acknowledged it was a cycle event and tracked it as 29 minutes which makes sense because in order to record all of the workout summary on the bike, I had to keep pedaling so the data would not go away/reset. However, the SPAT only credited me with 1.5 miles - a huge difference!

I would like to be able to edit the events that are recorded to give accurate credit for my workout, in this case to correct the data to show 4.04 miles instead of 1.5. Is this possible? At this time, the only alternative I can see is to reclassify it, but that only allows me to change the type of workout and the time spent.

Even if I were to try to manually entire a bike event, it only lets me select the workout type and the time spent, not the miles. Ideally, I'd love to be able to include resistance as well to indicate the intensity of the workout over the time of the workout.

Thanks for considering!
