9/6: the scale said 184.6. While that's a lovely number, I think maybe the scale is not working correctly ...
9/8: 274 -- UT OH!! Wrong way Corrigan! I'll need to get this turned around & quick!
9/13: 269.4. Not as good as it seems to be, since I weighed in at 268.4 in the middle of the week.
9/20: 270.4 -- I think because I wasn't able to exercise as much last week due to back pain. Still discouraging -- I have given up sweets entirely except for a square or two of 85% dark chocolate -- you'd think my body would cooperate by losing an ounce or two!
9/27: My scale is broken! I'm absolutely sure that I don't weigh 250.5#, which is what it read yesterday morning. I'll get a new one tomorrow, & weigh myself then.
10/4: still haven't gotten a scale -- got sidetracked last week. I'll get one today & weigh tomorrow morning

I'd like to join the challenge if it's not too late!
Weighed in yesterday at 223 (10/2/10).
If my calculations are correct, there are just over 7 weeks left before Thanksgiving. I'd love to consistently lose a pound a week...so my goal for Thanksgiving is 216.
I'm also in a challenge for Christmas...so this goal will help me stay on track for that one as well!!

My goal weight by Thanksgiving from Today 10/2 should be 192. I am going to be more consistent with my targeted goals of tracking my food, controlling my portions by weighing and measuring and doing my exercises every day.

I am continuing on the Skinny Pumpkin challenge through the end of October, and my goal is 200 lb. My goal weight through the end of Thanksgiving is 193.5. That's the point at which I will have lost 10% of my body weight, which Dr. Oz says is really good.

8/13--155--only 5 more pounds to goal!
8/20--155.8--oh oh, what happened! Must have been no exercise. I have been under Dr. orders to take it easy. I have been eating in calorie range all week! I guess I am lucky that is all I gained.
8/27--154.6--Now we are getting there-4 & 1/2lbs to go
9/3--157.6--I don't know what this is all about, but I will not get too excited, I know it is only temporary!
9/10--154--that's better-- 4 lbs to go!
9/17--152.8--getting there, only 2 and 1/2 lbs to goal! awesome - slow but sure, we will get there!
9/24--153--went up 1/2 pound, I can't seem to get it moving constantly in the right direction. Those scales just are not cooperating, but I did get into some smaller jeans! Thanks for the happy birthday HOTTEXAN--IT WAS A WONDERFUL DAY!

I'm sooo impatient! Here i was standing on the scales this morning thinking 'i've walked before AND after work the last 2 days and packed all my food for work. Where's the weight loss already??!! i'm still the same weight as the weekend! how rude!' emoticon

9/28- Still at 145 lbs. Amped up my exercise over the past two weeks while not eating more and GAINED five pounds! Talk about a rut! I'm in it and it's getting deeper. My goal is not to maintain this weight, but to lose it. But I can't seem to reach that tipping point where the pounds will drop off - even slowly. After three years of tracking food and exercise on SparkPeople, I am ready to throw in the towel and accept that I am NOT going to be able to lose these extra pounds. Back down to 145 lbs. for this week, but I seriously don't know if I'll be able to meet this team challenge.

8/13--155--only 5 more pounds to goal!
8/20--155.8--oh oh, what happened! Must have been no exercise. I have been under Dr. orders to take it easy. I have been eating in calorie range all week! I guess I am lucky that is all I gained.
8/27--154.6--Now we are getting there-4 & 1/2lbs to go
9/3--157.6--I don't know what this is all about, but I will not get too excited, I know it is only temporary!
9/10--154--that's better-- 4 lbs to go!
9/17--152.8--getting there, only 2 and 1/2 lbs to goal! awesome - slow but sure, we will get there!
9/24--153--went up 1/2 pound, I can't seem to get it moving constantly in the right direction. Those scales just are not cooperating, but I did get into some smaller jeans! Thanks for the happy birthday HOTTEXAN--IT WAS A WONDERFUL DAY!

9/6: the scale said 184.6. While that's a lovely number, I think maybe the scale is not working correctly ...
9/8: 274 -- UT OH!! Wrong way Corrigan! I'll need to get this turned around & quick!
9/13: 269.4. Not as good as it seems to be, since I weighed in at 268.4 in the middle of the week.
9/20: 270.4 emoticon -- I think because I wasn't able to exercise as much last week due to back pain. Still discouraging -- I have given up sweets entirely except for a square or two of 85% dark chocolate -- you'd think my body would cooperate by losing an ounce or two!

No losses to report but clothes are feeling looser. I honestly can't imagine what it will be like to reach my goal, but I am going to start imagining!
