sent out some goodies today and am working on hitting 15,000 again (made it before bed last night) but have the fashion show tonight so will have several hours of not getting in much moving--the runway won't be long!

9/5 Well my Fitbit quit working but I know I had way over 10k steps. I also did squats and incline pushups.

9/6 This is the day that was the party I switched to my spark activity tracker and it only read out almost 5k which I know I had a lot more steps. I switched it yesterday to my shoe and I can tell it makes a big difference. I had gone shopping in the morning and was in and out, a lot of walking when I was in the stores. Then we danced a lot. So I'm guessing I was between 8k to 10k

Got in almost 11,000 steps yesterday, but didn't lose an ounce!

Nearly 2 inches of rain last night along with scads of emoticon -- luckily nothing seems to scare my cats or dog! But, boy, 2 inches is an overkill.

Didn't wake up until 6:44 this morning, and cleaned up the garage instead of taking a walk.

with my body type, jumping rope has never been appealing
anticipating another day of getting in my steps(over 12,000 yesterday)
also have to do a few things outside just in case the snow comes in a few days

Sept. 1st -- shoveled gravel, pulled weeds and walked.

Sept. 2nd -- same thing, also did a little dancing to Western Music

Sept. 3rd -- Got in a 1.8-mile walk in the early morning, drove to Glendale for a Dr. Appt.
Spent quite a bit of time packing and moving boxes

Sept. 4th -- Again packing and moving boxes, not as many steps, but about 7500

Sept. 5th -- Packing, moving boxes, some yard work, packing and unpacking car. 2 Dr. Appt. then headed back to the mountains. Might be too late to go for a walk as it starts to get dark by 6:30, have to see how it works out. Maybe???

9/4 Read #6 Proper form and I'm guilty of this hanging on to the handles when walking so I really focused on not doing that.

I workout on on my Pilates machine also and concentrated on my form doing the exercises correct.
14,008 steps

77 min

5,63 miles

would love to have a Kettle bell but that is just one more thing to have sitting around I have dumbbell and that is good enough for me maybe if I find a kettle bell at a garage sale I will pick one up but until then won't go out to buy one

didn't really work to hard on exercise I worked on my flowers and that is a lot of walking back and fourth and I did it for about a hour

Packing stuff out of cabinets today and hauling the boxes to the garage -- should get lots of steps and lifting in. What fun!

In the Phoenix area so it's much too hot to go outside.

9/1/14 I really didn't do much except I got 56 min of excercise 10,350 steps.

9/2/14 OK for todays challenge. Changed my status

2 things I did from the article is did cardio first followed by PIYO. It said you get better results doing cardio and then follow it up with strength training. 2nd thing is I really pumped my arms while walking on the treadmill and boy do I feel it. Changed my status

Total steps today so far is 10,162 don't think I'll get many more I'm going to bed.

9/3 So I read #4 and I walked on incline for about 20 min that's all I could take. LOL I did get 47min in and 10,238 steps. I also did 120 incline pushups and 200 squats. Changed my Status

going to read/look at the videos while in Glendale today (no limit on byte's there)
upped my steps to 6500/daily but usually get in 7K to 8K
started doing more leg and arm exercises

Walking is my main exercise, plus pulling weeds (a never ending job)

Need to wean myself away from the candy/cookies routine -- so hard!

reading is reinforcing/reminding me of what to strive for
Got in my steps and did quite a bit of lifting and carrying--I'm not much for "exercise" but walking and working hard are the ways I burn calories
