Well, up to $220 after yesterday's shopping trip. Stocked up on some pork spareribs that won't be eaten until next month. Still got a big pack of chicken thighs in the freezer too from last month.

Life is good.

Now if the wind would just stop blowing.

$22.56 yesterday, including a $5 rotisserie chicken from Costco that I shouldn't have needed but goofed when cooking chicken for Mom, DB and me last night. Didn't really need to go grocery shopping yet, but Mom was out of bread and wanted me to go, so I shopped for both of us. The rotisserie chicken, a 10-lb bag of chicken legs, and a bunch of veggies. So somewhere around $70 - $80 for the month, including $7 for bread from a bakery and $6 for assorted soft drinks. There just have not been any good sales on much of anything, and I don't go into stores. Can't imagine what else I might buy this month.

Doesn't hardly seem like it can be right. Will go back and check the Walmart online receipts. Does make it easier to keep track of what I spend on food when the only place I shop is Walmart and their receipts are online.

I guess it's right. Definitely a good month, budget-wise!

Yeah, I went way over! $340.31. I bought stuff to make Gluten Free pizza, markdown meats, and seafood, and generally a bunch of stuff I didn't really need.

Yeah I really am, I just am trying to put as much money as possible to other things. Debt payments, household stuff, etc. Primarily debt payments! We're doing well with that too, my credit score went up like 30 points!

Sounds like you're doing just fine then

I'm up to $129 after this week's shopping. One more shopping trip this month, I should come in under $200.

I've spent almost all of my budget already, so I know I will be going over! Luckily I can take from other categories...

I looked up the average food stamp benefits for NY and they're a bit higher. About $275 a month for the 2 of us, so I have actually been budgeting under the SNAP benefits.

I seem to be standing at $73. Which is pretty good for 2/3 of the way thru the month. Hopefully my daughter will go shopping for me tomorrow, which will bump it up.

$13.71 this week, $12.44 last week, plus $7 for bread. Plus whatever I spent the first week. I'm not keeping track of my spending these days, so don't have a convenient place to look it up. I think it was around $14. So somewhere around $50 for the month so far.

I'm setting limit at $300, but hope to come in considerably under as I still have a lot of meat I bought last month in the freezer.
