I tried to be good at dinner, but it was the Mandarin. So although I had less than I would've in the past and opted for more vegetables it still wasn't a great option. But my baby girl turned 7 today and she wanted Mandarin.Back to home cooking and playing outside, it's going to be a good week.

so far you have been doing so well Lisa, I'm sure you will be doing great again this week. I cleaned up a big portion of the yard, but its been a couple weeks so now I have to do it all over again haha.

I did good last week with lunches, did bring one today unfortunately but I did get some good groceries this weekend and I have some tasty plans for the next few days. As soon as I finish my final exam tonight my time will free up and I still plan on getting to the gym 6 times.

During the week I worked by butt off, I had even challenged myself to 20K steps a day and was exhausted but was able to complete that. I was feeling positive and was set to lose 2lbs this week, and then I stopped tracking. I got busy with my daughter's 7th birthday and didn't track for the weekend and my loss went away.

Back to the tracking this morning, to keep my momentum going. Have a great week everyone!

Still logging and so grateful that I am. We were at the mall tonight and ended up at A&W, What a mistake, I ended up going over my calories, I ate almost all the days calories in that one meal. I felt totally gross after and once I did calculate the nutrition, it makes it an easy decision to stop the fast food. Live and learn! wasn't enough to derail me I'll brush it off and keep going.

I have successfully logged everything I've eaten for the last week.Which has highlighted to me I"m not eating enough carbs and there is too much sodium in my diet. I like to have something to focus on other than weight because although I've had a great week, my number still starts with a 3.

Okay I'm going to focus on 2 for the month of April since I will still be working three jobs for the first two weeks.
1. Do some exercises at home even for 10 minutes 3 times a week.
2. Pick one room a week to go through and clean out.

Never let Yesterday or Tomorrow take up Today!

Progress not Perfection...Baby Steps!

I forgot to do this for Feb and March so thanks!

We have had a super mild winter and therefore spring has come early to Edmonton which makes me have more energy and go want to get out and do yard work. I'm not going to go crazy since it still could snow on us but it's looking less and less likely everyday

Non-Weight April Goals
-pick up all the winter droppings from my dog. I always hate this big job so getting started early will be key
- get to the gym minimum 6 times
- pack lunches at night. I've stopped doing this and found that I was either buying lunch or slapping together small and bad options in the mornings

I love Spring, everything is so fresh and new. A great time to start a new habit.

They say it takes 30 days to establish a habit, so for the month of April my goal is to log everything I eat. I know I'm more successful when I do it and yet it seems to keep sliding,so time to recommit.

Does anyone else have any non weight goals for April?
