I was a whopping 220lbs. this time last year. I am now at 173 Lbs. I have lost 47 Lbs.My first goal is to loose 50 Lbs and go from there.

Ok, I am at 192.4 today...not bad considering I had ham for dinner last night (as well as other foods loaded with sodium). I am bloated today from all the salt, so extra water for me.

I started out at 250 this year when I joined Spark and this team. During this year I have lost 45 lbs, but due to the holidays getting me- gained 5 back. So here I sit at 210. I wish I could have broken that 200 barrier for the New Year. I told myself I would go shopping for clothes once I'm under 200. I have only bought 1 pair of jeans so far, they are a size 16. I did start out at 18/20. These are the only pants that fit me right. Everything else is baggy. :o)
I will get under 200 in January. I will. AND it will be amazing. I don't remember the last time I was under 200. I've been over that since I began high school at least (2002). I am not as active as I would like to be in this team. This team is where I started and I would like to consider it my home. We've all been together for almost a year. It's been a tough one at that.

Congratulations to everyone and I'm so very glad you have kept up and stayed with it. No matter how many times you have fallen off the wagon like I have, you are always welcome to come back home. :o)

Thank you everyone for being so kind and being so understanding during this past year when I have been on and off. I couldn't of done this without you. I really couldn't have.

Sparkpeople.com is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. Thank you all. I wish you all a wonderful and happy New Year. I will see you in the New Year. Stay Safe!

Made it to 202! Yay!

Now to push the rest of the way to 199 and below!

I'm happy to end the year 6 pounds lighter. I'd have been happier to be a LOT lighter, but I'll take 6 pounds! :)

Hi,

I started out at 175 and have only lost 5 pounds because I have not stayed committed to working out. 2009 holds new promises, new goals and new accomplishments and I look forward to dropping down to 135 by December 31, 2009.

i was hovering around 190 when i started a year ago. i have maintained my 160 since i think june. so i've been happy about that. wanna see if i can get down to my 145 this year though, slow and steady :)

Last year at this time I was 192. This morning I weighed 178. In October I got down to 169. Then the holidays hit........no excuses, just bad choices on my part! Biggest thing I'm proud of is that I went from a size 16 pants to a size 12....got a pair on today!

My goal for 2009 is to hit 160...YEAH!

This time last year I was 187. I lost 20 lbs between Jan and July. When my grandmother got sick and later died, I quit taking care of myself. I got up to 197 in a matter of months. Two weeks ago I have gotten back on track and have gone from 197 to 194.6

I forget what I weighed when I started (180?). I got down to about 169, up to 214 (darn pregnancy) and I am currently at 177.

I weigh 108. I gained a pound but it's okay. I lost 35 lb. this year. I am happy about that because my goal was to lose 23 lbs. I don't want to lose any more but thanks to God and Spark People I went beyond my goal and have kept it down.

Grammap1 - WHY are you disappointed?!?!?!
You have made a change in your life. Granted, you may not have lost ALL this weight that you wanted to, but you've begun the extremly difficult process of changing your lifestyle. Last year you probably ate HORRIBLY and didn't even THINK about getting up to move your tushie!!! And THIS year, it's different. You've increased your fresh fruits/veggies, are learning skills for a HEALTHIER lifestyle and YOU LOST just over 14 pounds! FOURTEEN POUNDS of FAT.
BE PROUD of what you've accomplished this past year!
You are doing a GOOD job - and NEXT year, we'll aim for doing a GREAT job, OK!

I was 257 one year ago.
I did get down to 239.6
Today, 242.6

I am a bit disappointed, but I know that fault stays with me. I am not giving up! I have appreciated the many helps on Spark People and from you Mrs. Honey.
I WILL do better in 2009 emoticon Hopefully these poor old knees will heal from last week's fall, and I can get into the walking program at our church!!!

Last week - 142.5
This week - 142

Overall loss - 14.5
I know that this doesn't sound like a lot, but, considering that I lost 50 lbs. in 2002, kept it off for a year, subsequently re-gained about half of it in the next few years, and have now lost the 50 again and some more besides, I'm very pleased! SP and WW is an unbeatable combination!
