you do go the 100 push-ups without stopping and the type of push-up is what you are able to do. I don't have the strength to do the "regular" pushups, so I do the modified, which is on the knees. But it's not just "ok, do 100 push-ups", it's a 6 week program that takes you from where you are to being able to do the 100. When I started even with the modified I was only able to do 9. Now I can do 33.

You don't ahve to do them without dropping your knee or taking a break, do you? That would be impossible. I was the pushup queen at Ft. Jackson, SC, but that was a looooooooong time ago.
