Don't underestimate Goodwill. I found some great workout pants there almost new for $3.99.

I usually work out at home, sometimes even in my pjs, but I'm going to be going to some fitness classes and feel the need for some nice workout clothes.

It depends on my mood. If im in one of those i dont wanna work out moods, I just put on some old clothes. If i'm in a good mood, I like wearing my reebok, or nike gear! I love those dry fit shirts from Reebok!

I love my hair color that God has chosen to give me, but my husband doesn't like the greys, so I have my hair highlighted to "embrace" those white/grey hairs.
And, I wash my hair daily. If not, I feel itchy!
I have been using Aussie shampoo/cond for years, but when I had my hair retouched last month I bought the stuff at JCPenneys -- Matrix brand. Biolage, Color Care Shampoo. And I got the Redken "All Soft" Heavy Cream super treatment for dry/brittle hair.
I have "combination" hair - very dry ends and "oily" scalp. Weird, huh?

This is not really workout clothes related but more workout related. . .
Does anyone color their hair?
If you do then you know that it is not recommended to wash your hair everyday. Not that I workout everyday, but this really becomes a challenge. How do you go on with your day w/o washing your hair after a sweaty workout?

Many people say to use a dry shampoo.
I haven't tried it, but if you've tried it. . . what do you think?

I think it helps to motivate us if we wear some nice fitting clothes.

Great idea. Ebay definitely has good buys!
I should know. . . I've sold my brand name "fat" pants there before :) Thanks girls!

Oh yeah. . . and one thing I definitely need to invest in is good socks! I wore the thinnest pair yesterday and wound up with blisters :(

I'm with MrsHoneyC. I used to wear too big t-shirts and whatever I could find at Goodwill. But now I like investing a little money in workout clothes. I'm still cheap though. I've found tons of bargains at Walmart and Kohls. I am training for a half marathon now and so I've bought a couple of pairs of running tights on ebay. They feel and look so slick and make me feel like a real runner! I think it's definitely worth it to find some clothes you like to workout in!

Hi there!
This team has gotten very, VERY quiet. BUT, *I* am still here!

I wore whatever "frumpy" clothes, too - but when I hit that big Five-Oh loss, I "invested" in a sweet pair of running pants and shirt - just one set. That didn't fit for long, so glad that I hadn't spent more $$!!!!
If you hit WalMart they've got Danskins on sale most of the time. I like the fit and feel. And, yes, fitting such a tighter fitting clothes made me more motivated to continue the wt. loss and I felt GOOD in my "new" skin!
I think that investing in just one "cute" workout outfit is definitely "worth it".

Do you ladies (or guys) find that its far more motivating to invest in nice looking workout gear?

At the moment I wear whatever old frumpy clothes I have since I'm tight on money.

But what do you think? Is the investment worth it?
Please write back with all your wonderful thoughts and ideas!
