Just checking to see how everyone is doing on the fitness minute challenge, I am at 1447 of my 2000.

Mine is low compared to you guys, but you gotta start somewhere. Right now it is 600. If I just go to Martial Arts class 3x/week (45 min. each) I should have no trouble making that. I also go to the gym 1/week and do strength training for about 45 minutes. If I make it to special training 1x/wk that is another hour. But I know life often gets in the way of these things. For example I am sick, so I missed sparring class last night. Hopefully I will feel well enough to do special taining tomorrow and will make up a bit there.

I am going to shoot for 1200 minutes, which is about 30 min/day. Wish me luck! Good luck to you girl!

My fitness minute goal for the month of April will be 2000 minutes. I know...sounds kind of high and probably is. It averages out to 66 a day which I know is possible so why not?
I decided to take my yearly fitness minute goal and divide it by 12 to come up with my minutes for the month. I have never yet met my yearly fitness minute goal so I am going to put a major effort into getting there this year

(you can use any method you want to come up with your goal for the month...this is just the way i did it)

The April challenge will be to set a fitness minute goal for the month and do your best to meet it.
Once you decide your total fitness minute goal please post it in this thread and check in at least once a week to post how many fitness minutes for that week along with the type of activity. If you know the approximate calorie burn for the activity please post that too...might be kind of interesting :)
Hopefully this will be a fun challenge and we can get some new ideas for different types of activities to try.
