There are 1,440 minutes in a day, many people avoid doing just 15 or 20 minutes of exercise daily because they find that that increases their stress, and they simply don't have the time for it. That is particularly true for those who have an built up aversion to exercise. Undergoing an short exercise routine releases flight or fight stress hormones into the blood stream. As we know mental stress is measured by the amount of the fight or flight hormones in the blood stream and those who habitually have these stress hormones in their blood stream tend to be overweight because these stress hormones block the release of insulin which helps keep weight down. But research has shown that a regular routine of 15 to 20 minutes of exercise a day actually reduces overall stress. See www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healt

. A period of intense activity can easily put you in a zone of calmness where your mind is at peace after which you will be more logical and creative.
But what if you can't find the time for exercise. Is it even possible to be too busy to exercise? Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Group, has started more than 400 companies. He has also published multiple books, is an active philanthropist, and has many personal hobbies. When asked how he does it all, he always lists exercise as his number-one productivity secret. Research suggests that he may be right. Studies show that exercise increases creativity, helps you sleep better, and gives you energy, all of which make you more productive. That means that being busy is a reason to exercise more often, not less. Give exercise a try for a week, be sure to tap on any issues that arise, and see if you can develop it into a regular routine.
