No there isn't a way to connect your Spark nutrition tracker to Garmin. I wanted to do that also. I ran into some problems with My Fitness Pal being connected to my Garmin. It messed with my weight here at Spark and I finally had to disconnect it from Garmin.

Go to the exercise tracker and at the bottom under tools and settings there is a link to connect devices and apps. Garmin, Fitbit, Runkeeper and others are listed when you go to the link.

Hi - I'm new to this group but I wonder if anyone can help. I'm trying to synch my Garmin Vivofit 2 to sparkpeople. Does anyone know if that's possible?

I used to have a button that said "sync now". I don't have that option anymore. Same problem, Garmin minutes don't show up.

Have you mentioned it to Sparkpeople tech? I haven't had a problem with syncing but I had another problem that they were very helpful with.

I understand it can take a few days, but I've been trying for about a week. It states I've never synced.... but, I have many times. Garmin states they have sent over the info to sparkpeople, but it still shows zero steps everyday all week. I walked over 12,000 steps yesterday.

I, too, am experiencing issues getting data over to my fitness tracker on SP. My device finally must have synced for a nano second-lol- gave me a whopping 212 steps for today....after reading back to some earlier posts, it appears it sometimes takes a few days?? Oh well, guess I can manually enter my exercise like I had been doing all week. Rats! I was excited to finally make the time today to pair the two, and wanted instant gratification.....

I keep syncing my garmin, but nothing shows up on Sparkpeople website. On garmin it shows is linked with sparkpeople, and on sparkpeople it shows that it is connected to garmin. Does anyone know why it just shows zero steps for all week? And, why it says has not ever synced. On the garmin side it shows many syncs. But, not on the sparkpeople side.

Anyone know how to do that? I can't find it on either the main Garmin page or on GarminConnect.

Can you tell what data is synchronized and into which direction between Sparkpeople and Garmin Connect?

How do you get to this page and the teams? I can't do that with my mobile app.

Go to this link which is the start-up page and then you can do the rest.

Cindi,

Thanks for the information. My Garmin is set to mobile on my pc. Is it possible to set garmin for mobile and pc? I will stick with mobile if I can't set for both.

If you just synced to SparkPeople, yes, it can take a day to kick in, and a couple days for steps from the past few days to show up (and they may never be 100% correct for pre-sync days). After the first day, your steps should show up right for each current day post-sync. Same with activity minutes/calories. Once it is all in sync, it does record those two things really pretty well. It's the funky way it sends over pounds losses that always makes me unsync it.

No steps and no activity shows up from my sync either. I went 7.1 miles. Did I read it will take a couple days for this to kick in??

On your PC go to the fitness tracker. At the bottom you will see sync devices. Click on that and it will take you to a page where you can connect your garmin. I don't think you can see your garmin sync information on your Spark mobile. Just on the PC. Spark Mobile doesn't do everything that you can do on the PC. I also track my miles and I can't do that on Spark mobile. I have to go to the PC.

I am new to the team, but not to Garmin. I have had vivofit 2 for almost 2 years. I set up garmin with Spark properly. Yet, no steps show up on Spark.

My garmin is set to mobile. I downloaded Spark app to my phone. I was able to log food and exercise ( swimming) on Spark, but not steps. Am I doing something wrong?

I used my fitness pal and garmin prior to today, which worked fine.

I don't remember seeing that on the Garmin side. I must have done it because it eventually synch's but it sometimes takes 4 or 5 tries.
