"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another." Galatians 5 22-26

As a child of God, we should model ourselves by the above fruits of His spirit. We should try to emulate Him. A tree is known by the fruit it bears, so is the life of a child of God. It does me no good to profess Him as my Savior, when the life I live doesn't exemplify His works. We should all strive to make our lives a living testimony. We must live the life we talk about!
May the awesome love of God Bless and keep you!

God directed my attention to the Book of James for my devotions today.
I went to BBNBI INSTITUE.com - a site that offers free Bible courses by a variety of Godly men.

Here James teaches how we as Christians need to behave and live out our lives built on Jesus Christ. Get ready to get your toes stepped on as we are reminded again and again how we are to live our daily lives for someone we fail.

Here is 5 steps that we as Christian need to live by
Chapter 1. Stand with Confidence built on the Lord Jesus Christ
Chapter 2. Serve with Compassion (in all our relationships)
Chapter 3. Speak with Care (this is essential in spiritual maturity)
Chapter 4. Submit our lifestyle of behavior unto our Heavenly Father
Chapter 5. Share with Concern (with an eternal perspective)

This was so uplifting!!!!
