If our "Praise Time", matched our "time eating", I just wonder if we would be super skinny! emoticon

I definitely see the need to improve in taking more time to express heart felt praise unto our Lord, not just a hurried "thank you".

That makes me think of the time when I went to a Bible Conference for women and the speaker one night said to us

"Do people see your flame? Do they see you burning for Christ as you walk by?"

so let them see your flame!!!! Let others see you ON FIRE FOR THE LORD! Amen!

We are 'walking Epistles'!

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

To praise God in all or through all things is 1 of lifes many lessons. Even if or even though, praise God! He alone is more than enough, as we walk alone on lifes journey.
Lets face truth, we know one another through the spirit of God! Recognize
They will know we are Christians by our love!
What power He holds!

If you have a facebook account, you know they show you memories from previous years. This morning, I noticed that one year ago today, I posted a status on FB that said "What if we worked for God as hard and as diligently as we wanted Him to work for us?"

That post went through my mind again as I read your post, LaTonya. We want God to love on us, to bless us, and to do so constantly. But so often we only love on Him or bless Him out of a ritual (grace before meals, bedtime prayer, etc.) or when something really big happens. We don't show Him the same consistency that we expect Him to show us.

Thank You Heavenly Father! As we walk this journey, we need to make sure we are praising God for being our Lord and Savior. Not just lip service, but truly honoring Him for those Blessings seen and unseen. We shouldn't wait for Him to perform huge miracles in our lives, we should praise Him daily for the small miracles He performs. If you can think of no other reason, then praise Him for the ultimate sacrifice of giving His Son for our salvation.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

It is so easy to express our despair when we are being tested or enduring trials, but are we being as diligent in our praise? We should be just as passionate in our praise as we are when we take our problems to God. This world is fickle and continues to change, but the God we serve is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

We have the Assurance of knowing no matter what we endure, we have been sealed unto the day of redemption. Ephesians 4:30

How can we not give Him praise! In Him I found everything I need...He's my healer, deliverer, confidant, protector, peace maker, comforter, restoration, encouragement, not a day goes by that His grace and mercy doesn't shine on me. When I think of all He has done, I am humbled to serve Him.

Father, I want to stop right now, and take time to praise Your name! Thank You for saving my sin sick soul. Even in my darkest hour, I have comfort knowing You are right there. I don't deserve Your love, yet You give it freely. You offer me calmness in the midst of this chaotic world, and You provide rest for my weary soul. I will spend the rest of my life serving you!
In the mighty name of Jesus, AMEN!

I'm Too Blessed To Be Stressed!!!
