Decided to drag out the scale this morning. I figured out yesterday I had been retaining fluid badly. Felt so bloated but got rid of it I think. My weight is up slightly, but I was misbehaving and then we had our cruise. Went up from 198.2 to 199.4 Not as bad as I expected. Going to concentrate on doing better.

for me, it starts with awareness, then take action. I weigh tomorrow and may have put on a pound. I've been working at this since July. This would be my first "blip" on the screen. Holidays are hard for me. Forgive and move on.

I weighed in today as I knew I had done some serious damage over the holidays.
The verdict: 170 pounds. The heaviest I have been in a long time.

I was doing really well with the food since July. Sugar free the entire time. Then , I had a piece of cake over the holidays and it reactivated my sweet tooth.So, I'm working on it. I weigh on Thursday. We'll see how it went then.

Nice JERRI1994!! You had a great plan going into Christmas- how did it go?
I did not do as I should have. As a result I am feeling yucky and bloated today.
I have started the day off well and am headed down to workout.
I will be weighing in on Dec 31 and be looking forward to accomplishing my weight goal of 135 pounds in 2018.

I lost 0.8 lb. this week for a total of over 26 lb. Weight is now 162.6. Yay me! I have two Christmas events to attend (one I am cooking for), I have a plan. The one I cook for will be relatively easy to navigate, having seafood. The other one is at my M-I-L's house. There will be lots of desserts. She'll send leftovers home with me and my daughter. I'll try to send the cookies and cakes to my daughter. Like she needs it! LOL I plan to have 1 dessert. I committed to adding 10 min. of exercise everyday. That's in addition the the 40 min. workouts I do 3 times a week. Hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season, and the winter solstice.

Don't give up! I'll be afraid to post next time. We are going on a cruise for Christmas and you can just imagine all the stuff there is to eat there ; ( Will be starting over again!!!

I want to join your challenge, too. I weighed in on Thursday at 162.6. I've lost 25 lb. so far. I want to lose about 45 lb. more. I've "acquired" some health problems along the way. Hypertension, osteoarthritis, cancer, thyroid, ugh. Anyway, I'm on my way. Thanks to everyone!

Since fixing the toilet in my big bathroom I keep forgetting to weigh in, but I will try to remember. I finally remembered yesterday and it didn't look too good. On 12/11 I weighed 198.8.

Yes, I'll join you in that. I don't see it as a definite measure of my success b/c there are a lot of other victories, as well, but it's one of the measures that help to see progress and encourage more. So yep, I'll join you. I haven't weighed yet this week. My usual day is Wednesday.

The scale is my success indicator. I have a goal of loosing around 30 pounds. A weekly weigh in keeps me honest. Monday will be my day.
Anyone else want the scale to keep them accountable/motivated?
