Walked well over 120 minutes Sunday during Be A Visitor In Your Hometown today, so 36 points for field goals. Tracked all my food, which was over on calories for the day, so no touchdown and no PAT, which would have been good for 12 cups of water.

Thanks Cate, I'm in. This weekend will be an interesting start. It's a big Highland Games weekend and we usually have a BBQ feast. I'm anticipating NOT making food goals, but will surely make my activity minutes and then some!!

Hi Cate,

This sounds like a great way for me to get back on track! Sign me up and I will start checking in Thursday. I am heading to the food plan now to tweak things and print out meals & snacks. I cut up a bunch of fresh veggies yesterday to help me & my husband make good choices this week.

FOOTBALL SEASON IS HERE AT LAST!

As diehard Patriot fans we are all excited to see the new season upon us. With that in mind and not forgetting that the whole reason we are here on Spark People is to lose weight or maintain, practice healthy habits, and get in those fitness minutes I offer up the September Patriotís Challenge.

LETíS PLAY FOOTBALL

Each day, starting Thursday, September 7th, you can score a touchdown, PAT, or up to 12 field goals.
TOUCHDOWN: you earn 6 points for tracking your food and staying within your
allowance
POINT AFTER: you earn 1 point for drinking 8 glasses of water
FIELD GOAL: you earn 3 pts for each ten minutes of exercise, up to 120 minutes (12
field goals)

Yes, that means youíll have to check in to SP once a day or every other day to post your scores. You can do it!

You can record this on a post right here at challenge central thread. (example)
Touchdown: 6
PAT: 1
Field Goals: 12 (40 minutes exercise)
Daily total: 19

Please do a new post each day, I will keep track of points on a spreadsheet and post updates.
