I managed to continue the exercises through the whole game!

90 squats

21 modified pushups

6 lunges on each side

150 seconds of planks

20 calf raises

And best of all the Pats won!

I totally understand!! I had my almost 3yr old granddaughter for the weekend - and kids are exhausting (and fun)! You're right, at 60+ years - whew! I had to do catch-up because she didn't leave until first half was almost over and I didn't do the challenge while she was here (push-ups would mean horsey rides!!).
Thanks for keeping the challenge going. I believe any movement we are doing during the game is good (especially if it is jumping up and down cheering emoticon ). Thank you for the Spark Goodie!
Glad you're back home in Pats country and hope things are going well for the family.

Trisha what a great job.

I have to be honest, I have been in Baltimore since last Sunday. I came down to help my sister. Her husband has been in the hospital for 5 weeks with a brain abscess. She babysits for her 5-month-old grandson when her daughter teaches. I have been the babysitter for this whole time, including the weekend because the Mom and Dad had an out of state wedding. My sister spends as much time as she can at the hospital which is understandable. I am exhausted, a 60 something woman who's not used to caring for a baby has been stretched to her max. The other grandmother is coming in Wednesday so there is a replacement. I just want to get back home to my husband. My flight is tonight. At least I'm getting out of Raven country before next week's game.

So I good intentions to do the challenge, but just kind of collapsed in front of the TV. There is next week and I will be back!!!!

Hi Cate, I wish I could do the exercises, but I wouldn't be able to get up off the floor. My husband and I really enjoy watching the Patriots. Thank you for the Goodie invite!

It's Sunday again. If you want to do the challenge here it is.

And here we are at 7-0. This week the Cleveland Browns come to our turf. Let's go with the one day challenge again and cheer on our team. Here's how we do it.

Every time the Patriots get a 1st down: 5 squats emoticon

Every time the Patriots score a touchdown: 7 push-ups or modified push-ups emoticon

Every time the Patriots score a field goal: 3 lunges, on each side. emoticon

Every time the Patriots score a safety: 2 Burpees or 5 Bridges emoticon

Every time the Patriots hold the Browns to no gain or a loss: 30-second plank or modified
plank emoticon

Every time the Patriots make an interception: 10 calf raisers emoticon

This is just for fun. Only do what is safe for you or feel free to substitute a different exercise. Post your accomplishments on this thread tomorrow. Go Pats and go teammates.
