Fan, pool, at night the air conditioning to cool the upstairs bedroom down (it's always hot)!

I love lots of different types of music - anything with a beat! Oldies, new....power songs. When I'm playing songs I like, then I don't notice how long I've been moving!

I love shish-kabobs on the grill! Healthy and tasty!

My motivation is my son's wedding Oct 4th....coming too quickly for me and I need to drop some weight (always). Set back was having my knee replacement - that wasn't in the plan and limited my mobility for 2 months...still is. I'll just do my best and hope to drop some from healthier eating!

We grill all the time. We do lemon garlic chicken, tri tip, steak, brats. We also have a veggie basket to do the veggies.

I love doing different types of burgers -- hamburgers, turkey burgers, onion burgers, pork burgers, pork chops on a bun, steak on a bun, chicken, etc. If you can put it on a bun, I'm good.

Doing onion burgers tonight -- 1 lb lean hamburger and 1 envelope beefy onion lipton soup mix.

I have some fresh corn on the cob, tomatoes and I think I'll make up some baked beans. Good eats.

My 47-yr old brother-in-law had a mild heart attack a couple of months ago. That was a wake up call for the family. He's been instructed to lose weight, exercise, was put on 3 types of BP medication, and other types of medication. Being the only one working in my family I've got to take care of myself for my husband and kids. Now that I'm 50 being obese will take a toll on my body so while I'm still young enough to move and get myself healthy now, the better.

What is motivating me today?

That's been on my mind lately. My short term motivation is a family vacation to Mackinac Island. I want to fit comfortably in my summer clothes and have energy to enjoy the adventure!

My lifetime motivation is health. I want to look good for my age, but more importantly I want to be able to do active things. I saw a 99 year old man on the news this morning who still golfs regularly and well. That's the life I want. My mother has Alzheimer's and regular exercise is recommended to avoid the web forming in our brains. That's enough to keep me moving!!

What is motivating me today?

The fact that I want to be able to do more than I am doing now. I want to be able to walk farther and faster. I want to be able to buy clothes anywhere. That this is my time to get this weight off for good.

What is motivating me today? I am close to getting out of the 200's! I have been losing slowly, very slowly, but am still getting closer to being out of 200's for the first time in probably 10 yrs. Unfortunately, not feeling great today and heat index is supposed to be in the 100's! I am hoping lots of water will help my neck/arm/ankle pain and headache.
