Just for today no steps, miles, cross train - celebrating the day for what it is and who itís For. Thankful my parents are alive, active, and do,as much as they do and today my mom being recognized and honored for her 50 years of volunteering for the womanís club. Enjoying the day, the 50.00 a plate meal, it begins my week 4, itís my resting day for my 5k training. And my daughter swims for regional special Olympics today and I have friends to be there to cheer her on since I canít be. Just for today -let go, celebrate and party

I liked the daily challenge. Find the date and click on it. Today is winter storm warnings, pull up a Nicole video then walk my 1.5 mile inside for 5k training

Just for today I will wear my podometer but not care if I get my 5000 steps since today is my resting day
Just for today I am getting out of the house, dressing up, watching a movie and going out to lunch
Just for today as I weigh in I know I begin week three and the number on the scale does not totally reflect the changes Iíve made

Week two and feeling this Sparkpeople takes hours of time in a day. Between post, blog, challenges, articles, videos, steps, logging,. My husband asks your still? Or on it again? Maybe Iím on too many teams taking on too much?

This begins my second week! The challenge of Drinking That much water was so hard- 8 whole glasses. Now I wake up and go right for the water until I go to bed. Made me realize how many times I really did turn to food when actually my body needed water. Ah ha moment!

How did we all do? Me, pretty good but should have been better! Obviously, this is one reason my weight has been up & down lately!

Just for today I'll make another, better, attempt at tracking my food! Maybe if I write it down then transfer it to here I'll do better...
