I go with the flow must days. Kids always have me going here in there with their sports.

It took me time to gain this weight and it will take time to get it off.

I can do it....

Do you already have a daily routine that includes your healthy meals, fitness and your well being?
Yes. It will be challenging to keep up the routine as I will be on vacation for 3 out of the 8 weeks of this challenge. When we travel, we bring our own healthy snacks and only eat out for 1 meal so I should be able to stay on track.

Do you have it where you see it often? Yes.

Please tell us what works for you. Daily exercise (walk and cycle), meal tracking, and meal planning.

Do you have questions Team Members can answer for you? Nope. Thanks to the team leaders for all their hard work and for being so motivational.

I have a daily routine that works for me most of the time.

I get up by 7:30 a.m. I take my medications, let Marv out and then feed him and fix my own breakfast. My friend usually calls me by 8:30. After that I take my shower and get ready so Marv and I can get our walk completed by 11:00 to 11:30. After our walk I do my stretches and strengthening for my IT Band. I then go to the YMCA so I can take my yoga class 12:30 to 1:30 Monday, Wednesday and Friday and on Tuesday and Thursday I do strength.

While this has become my routine I do write down my goals each evening so that I can mark them off when I get them accomplished.

I have pretty much the same thing every morning for breakfast--it works for me. I vary lunches and dinners having a big salad at least 3 times a week. I keep an assortment of items on hand for choices. When I cook something I usually make a big batch and freeze about half so I can have something ready to heat up quickly when I have less time. To get steps in I walk for 10-15 before I go to work, then have my alarm on my phone set to ring at 10:15 and 2:30 to walk another 10-15 minutes each time. I also walk 10-15 at lunch so that by dinner time I don't have far to go to get my 10,000. I find I am more motivated after dinner to do cardio which is usually on the elliptical and I do that 3-5 times a week. On a day where I mow or use the weed eater, I don;t usually also do cardio--the mowing seems to be a good substitute--and I usually end up "working out" for an hour. I try to be in bed by 10 or sooner so I can read and unwind. Around 9:30 I have been doing one of the challenge stretch and weight train exercise routines. I aim for 7 1/2 to 8 hours of sleep and get that most nights. I keep a good routine most weekdays but reward myself on weekends with different activities and not such a strict schedule.

Do you have it where you see it often? It isn't written.

I do not have a plan and have never been a real planner. My plans are to go to Curves 3x a week, track my food and exercise. The hardest thing for me to do is not procrastinate. Even if I have written plans/scheduled time, I wind up letting things get in the way of what I planned. I intend to work on this during this challenge.

I do have a daily routine that I try to stick with and it works for me most of the time.

I like to get up by 6:30 a.m. and have my first cup of coffee. Then I get dressed so Daisy and I can take our walk. Once home it's a quick check of email and SparkPeople, time for yoga and my leg exercises (after knee surgery it's a must), shower and dress for the day. Next comes breakfast and a few minutes talking about our plans for the day with DH.

I've just joined a gym and I think the best time for me to plan on going up there is around 10:30 a.m. Home for lunch, an hour with General Hospital while I do some knitting, afternoon projects and time to make a healthy dinner.

Evenings are mine to do as I like - it might be reading, it might be my bible study, it might be a movie and knitting.

I do not have this written down but it's been my routine for so long I just do it naturally. Every now and again when I add something new I have to tweak it for awhile until it is working well.

Do you already have a daily routine that includes your healthy meals, fitness and your well being? No. The only thing I do on a daily basis is walk - I try to get about 12,000 steps a day. Some days I can and some days I can't.

Please tell us what works for you. I need to find something as an eating plan.

Do you have questions Team Members can answer for you? Not right now - still looking on the Internet.

Do you already have a daily routine that includes your healthy meals, fitness and your well being?

Yes, as far as healthy meals, drinking water, tracking and usually staying at low end of cal range. However, weight is coming off extremely slow and sometimes there's even a gain which is very frustrating.

I'm a work in progress for a fitness routine. I only enjoy rocking babies and shopping. I do not like exercise of any type. I know it's good for me and I certainly need to so I have to get in a routine of making myself use my treadmill.

Do you have it where you see it often?

It's in my head of what I have in mind to eat and I track everything right away. The exercise is in my head also and it keeps telling me you really need to do this......blah blah blah

Please tell us what works for you? Routines and being organized - checking in on SP and communicating with the people here also

Do you already have a daily routine that includes your healthy meals, fitness and your well being? I did, but the school year just ended (I'm a teacher), so I need to create a new routine that can easily be adapted once the new school year starts.

Do you have it where you see it often? The only thing I have right now is my running training schedule on my fridge and reminders for daily yoga. Once I figure out my routine, I need to post it.

Please tell us what works for you. Planning ahead of time. If I sign up for a fitness class a day or more ahead of time, I'll go, but if I tell myself that I'll go to a class but wait to sign up day of, I won't go. Same thing with food. If I pack food for the day, I'll only eat what I have whether I'm in the mood for it or not; but if I plan on going out to get a healthy lunch, I'll end up ordering french fries.

Do you already have a daily routine that includes your healthy meals, fitness and your well being? I do not have a checklist, but I just read the book Miracle Morning so I am working on using that daily routine for my morning. I do plan on using a checklist that I can use.

Do you have it where you see it often? It will be in my bullet journal

Please tell us what works for you. I love writing things down so I will have a written reminder. I will also use Wunderlist to give me reminders on my phone too.

I do have a plan. My fitbit helps me with tracking my steps. I keep a calendar on my refrigerator with my walking days and strength training days and mark them off as I do them. I am also keeping my reasons for getting healthy there too. I have everything in place to be successful. Working on the food tracking.

Do you already have a daily routine that includes your healthy meals, fitness and your well being? I've just started getting back in the habits.

Do you have it where you see it often? It's not written down, it's in my head mostly.

Please tell us what works for you. Starting each day with a prayer to become more like the person God intends me to be. Making sure I have plenty of healthy foods available for both meals and snacks. Planning meals instead of eating on the fly. Plugging meals into the nutrition tracker BEFORE I eat them so I can adjust portions or make changes as needed to fit my goals. Keeping a tumbler of ice-water with a straw by my side 24/7. Using an activity tracker.

Do you already have a daily routine that includes your healthy meals, fitness and your well being? I'm a planner. When and if I don't plan, I make poor choices. I shop on Thurs or Fri and clean/cut-up fruit and veggies. Ready for the weekend - ready for lunches during the week.

Do you have it where you see it often? It isn't written.

Please tell us what works for you:
Plan ahead. Prepare food in advance. Take lunch vs go out to eat. Journal. Since I work PT, get to the gym for water exercises/walking on the weekends. Continue reading my newest yoga book AND continue with practicing yoga.

Do you already have a daily routine that includes your healthy meals, fitness and your well being?
Pretty much. I don't generally plan meals in advance, since both my husband and I will end up not fancying something on the day and change it up.

Do you have it where you see it often? Yes, I write positive reminders on dry erase board on fridge (this is also where the meal plan for the week is written )

Please tell us what works for you:
- Don't hit the snooze button! (I usually fail pretty hardcore at this)
- Check blood pressure
- Write in my morning diary, which is used to get all the negative thoughts out of my head
- Fill my water bottle
- Take valerian tablet
- Exercise
- Eat and have coffee within 30 minutes of exercising
- Do other tasks, such as learning German and HTML, writing, art, cleaning, etc.
- Fill water bottle again
- Exercise another 10 minutes
- Make dinner
- Take vitamins and second valerian tablet
- Hobbies
- Check blood pressure
- Bed (I really need to work on getting to bed much earlier)

I do not have a check list. I have a few goals I reach daily but at various times when ever I get to them. But thinking back over the years-- I got a lot more accomplished with the week scheduled out. I will work on this tonight.

looking for friends to connect with, get to know, and encourage each other along this journey. :-)

Even with all the technology available to us these days, I still prefer the old fashioned pen and paper routine. I have a planner that I use to do my menu planning, scheduled fitness, water intake, and daily t-do's. It works for me. It is simple in approach, an all in one place, and I refer to it often throughout the day. When the day is done, I color the day in green if I met all my goals for the day, yellow if I stumbled on something, and red if I bombed for the day. It is encouraging to see blocks of green. It is also encouraging to see that if I do have a yellow or red day, that they are much rarer than they used to be. It helps me to not get in the I blew it! mindset, and stay there. Going for green!!!!

I have a set of trackers - mostly in my Bullet Journal that track weekly whether or not I reached my goals each day. I get to check off when I exercise, drink 8 cups, sleep the minimum, get 5+ fruit/veg per day, etc. I'm constantly checking my journal throughout the day, so it's a good reminder - and I have having spaces not filled in so it encourages me to meet those goals.

(This is a snapshot of an earlier checklist)

Yes, I have what I eat, drink, and do ready and I keep it in my head. It's become my lifestyle, so it's with me 24/7. I have not gone "off" my way of eating since I began in January, but there are days I eat a little too much and I've learned not to beat myself up or throw in the towel for the whole day if that happens. Those were old habits that I feel like I've finally broken!! Being diligently consistent with my new lifestyle is paying off in so many ways.

Do you have a daily routine that includes healthy meals, fitness & well being?

Here is what does not change.
Breakfast 8:00 a.m.
Snack: 11:00 a.m.
Lunch: 2:00 p.m.
Supper: 5:00 p.m.
Snack: 8:00 p.m.

I have many weekly appointments at different times every week, so I walk in between appointments.

Fitness I walk at least 5 days a week, minimum 30 minutes, more if possible.
I joined a gym & in a week will work out a fitness program for 3 days a week.
I will know more then.
I also plan my menu in advance, if not busy I try to do 2-3 days ahead. I try to have 7 days planned for my Friday main shop & Saturday Fruit & Vegetable market with my grocery list so I am on track. I started a new diet recently, so working on getting what I need for it. I got rid of 4 plastic grocery bags of food to food bank yesterday.

I do not have questions at this time.

Do you already have a daily routine that includes your healthy meals, fitness and your well being? During the week is pretty routine, I do need to be more consistent with early morning workouts.

Do you have it where you see it often? Yes, I write positive reminders on dry erase board on fridge (this is also where the meal plan for the week is written )

Please tell us what works for you:
Don't hit the snooze button!
Get up by 5:45 to walk/exercise before work
Have workout clothes on top of dresser, ready to go!
Freggie smoothie for breakfast
Wear comfy shoes to work so I can be more active
Get up from my desk at least hourly (use reminder on my Fitbit)
Soup & salad for lunch
Drink plenty of water
March in place at my desk while on hold with insurance companies (multiple times a day)
Eat healthy snack that I packed
Avoid the candy dishes that are in almost every office (especially my weakness, peanut M&Ms)
Make dinner at home (meal plan, shop & prep on weekend)
Walk or bike ride with BF after dinner
Spark time!
Shower & wind down
To bed by 10:30

With the change of season, it is easier to make lifestyle changes. There is no time limit on doing these Countdown Activities, so do what you can, when you can. Put some thought into you goals and plans to make it a happy and healthy season. You are worth it.

Are you random on how you get things done? Does time get away from you and workouts are missed and meals are sketchy? Today is the day to start on your path to fitness and weight loss. It helps to the set goals YOU NEED to accomplish for a successful day.
