This morning I did a 45 minute walk/jog (3 jogging intervals) outdoors and it felt so nice (65 deg). Before bedtime, I applied Biofreeze pain gel to my left butt/leg , swallowed two acetaminophen w/sleep aid, and slept on a heating pad all night long. I woke with my left leg feeling so much better than previous nights. I know the issue comes from the sciatic nerve being irritated.

Good Day Wednesday....just finished KenPoX (58 mins cardio intense kickboxing) and it kicked my tail...lol...I did some "running in place" during 4 of 27 exercise moves due to my being uncoordinated with them. This workout definitely leaves one dripping with sweat..omg! I immediately prepared a Whey Protein Fruit Smoothie as a "recovery drink".

This morning I completed a 45 minute power walk outdoors with NO jogging as a way to "rest" this left leg. Funny thing is that it doesn't bother me during workouts...only when moving or sitting or sleeping normally.

You all are doing great! Keep moving those bodies.

Today is the beginning of my "Recovery Week". I performed CLX's Burn It Off! and it had me drenched and with a runny nose...MAMA MIA! It's been a while since doing this particular HIGH intensity interval-type cardio DVD. It's only 27 minutes but dang it is definitely intense! I used the 5lb weight with that lateral lunge-raise move which is the same weight used by Chalene...whew. I will do this DVD again on Friday.

This morning I performed P90X Legs & Back and was able to use a resistance tube looped around a wreath door hanger to perform the back exercises this time around instead of using weights as an alternative. Glad my workout week with fitness goals met! TGIF everyone!

This is Thursday and I completed a 45 minute walk/jog (6 jogging intervals) as scheduled. It felt good outdoors with temps around 75 and sunny skies. I have plans of doing an ab routine on the stability ball.

Today is Wednesday and I performed 1 set of each exercise in P90X Shoulders & Arms. Weights in use: 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15

Those shoulder circles in the warm-up section of the dvd are getting easier for me but still bring some wetness to my eyes...LOL! In the past, I could not even make it all the way through that particular move.

Listening to some good music while power walking outdoors this morning I didn't even realize 70 minutes had passed. I came indoors and did the 8 Minute Core Abs (included plank and side plank). I was happy to be able to hold the plank for those 50 seconds without going down to knees.

It's Monday! I feel especially thrilled about my accomplishment in doing one round (1/2 of dvd) of today's P90X Chest & Back. I was able to do several push-ups from my TOES, ten of those Decline push-ups AND did three of the Dive-bomber Push-ups which are CRAZY tough...Yay! I was surprised how much stronger my core had gotten to support push-ups from my toes...lol. I've been struggling with them for a couple of years.

I feel like an extra strong woman today!

29 toe push-ups
39 knee push-ups
