Egg & butter substitutes (for binding ingredients together)

Egg = 1.5 T. ground flaxseed, 2 T. water, mixed together replaces 1 egg
Butter =substitute melted coconut oil to make vegan/dairy free

To moisten ingredients = unsweetened applesauce, mashed banana, pureed pumpkin, avocado puree, grated zucchini, mashed beans

Milk substitutions = any non-dairy milk

Buttermilk substitutions = non-dairy almond or soy milk, add 1 tsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
