When I joined the fall challenge and did this, I realized I had not done it since I started in april! It does make a big difference, just reading thru my plan and program makes me feel recommitted to my journey.
After the challenge ended I joined a new team to ”hold me over” til we start again and I followed this advice and Refreshed my page. Didn’t delete my 5% challenge though emoticon
I’m updating again as we get closer to start. Maybe I’ll change what my goals are for our next challenge !

You know, I just can't do this, Update my page. It is too meaningful to me. My dearest loves, DH, DD, my big bro Bruce, Starshine, the California coast & Ireland, Really, I can't.

And even my friends, the first listed was my first welcome on SP. Sure enuf many of them have not updated for 600, even 1000 days but they have lots of meaning for me, then those that have passed, not letting their image go, some are duplicates for those that left & returned, and those that just closed their accounts, I can't get off- anyone know how?

I try to update my status at least monthly and blog on occasion, more when I am not stressed. I do tend to disappear from social interaction, just posting my mileage & weight and that gets spotty at times.

But this is me.

This is a fun activity, updating your Spark Page. This is your time to shine - tell us about yourself, add pictures of you, your hobbies, pets, etc. For new Sparkers this will really get you Sparking.

When's the last time you updated your information? Please look at your Spark Page; time has a way of slipping by and goals, progress and even programs change. Will new teammates and team leaders get an accurate picture of who you are and where you're at? Feeling stuck in a rut or in need of a fresh approach or look? Maybe change the background, colors, ticker, or even your Profile Picture to reflect your mood, the season, or your goals for the next 8 weeks.

Updating your SparkPage BEFORE the 5% Challenge makes it easier for others to get to know you and it just might give you an extra motivational boost or sense of renewal as we start the next 8 weeks.

Last year a new challenger wanted to get to know her team mates. 'I went to spark pages where it's hard to get to know folks when their spark pages aren't really started, updated OR have no recent blogs.'

One time my friend Andy 'removed 200+ people who had not updated their status in over 1000 days.' It matters that our Spark Friends are active on Spark. These are the people who motivate us and make Spark such a wonderful site.

As a bare minimum at least put in a new 'current status' on your Spark page. When you hover over a picture it shows the last status update and the number of days. Today I scooted around and the Challenge Team Leaders' pages, and the oldest status update is 679 days. See if you can find it.

Check out the 6 friends that appear on your Spark page. Are they still active on Spark? Do they still motivate you to do your best? Maybe it's time to reorder your friends so you have quick links to your most important Spark friends. If you are new to Spark find challenge members who motivate you and friend them.

Press 'Edit Text' button
Scroll down to Personal Signature
