It's fine. The darker the chocolate the better, going by coco percentage. I usually eat 80% or higher.

I think Dark Chocolate in protein bars etc and a small piece of 80% Dark Chocolate is actually good for us. Please correct me if I am wrong?

Whoops, I only saw no candy, not no chocolate... Let's say follow the rules and you can omit one. Cuz Ive had chocolate in protein bars, just not candy.

I make both granola and protein bars that have dark chocolate in them. They are my survival items for those moments when I want to eat the wall paper !! So..they are not junk..but ??
I cannot claim to not have chocolate as I do frequently.
Not sure there is a day this month I could claim but if there is I will note it.

Agree with all of what you're saying @BHSUZYCUE, but I needed to detox from the holidays, so I chose to use this program for 30 days. It's super restrictive; but only for the 30 days

If you make a pizza and it's healthy, that wouldn't count. I think this is more referring to take out pizza. I like that it included popcorn because I can over eat that easily. Chocolate... well... I agree on the sanity. Also, when it says no candy, I'm thinking of candy bars more than chocolate.

I think no pizza is too restrictive - pizza can be made in a healthy way.

Popcorn is also not inherently unhealthy - it depends on what is added to it.

And a small amount of dark chocolate also has some health benefits...not to mention helping preserve one's sanity - lol

I'm taking this one on full force.... need to detox from the yummy December (well, end of December) I've had... so here goes...

If you want to join the 30 day No Junk for January Challenge, simply start a thread, list the days you were successful. Aim for 30, but even 27, 28 or 29 out of 30 ain't bad... anyone who makes it all 30 days will receive an award.
