I don't have much energy today but will try to get some exercise in. I have a bad cold with lots of sinus issues - not fun!

I honestly can not tell if I have gained weight or not because I am weighing on a different scale. By next week I will have an idea because I will be using the same scale.

I was always the odd one out in my family. In the perspective that my mother weighed 117 lbs her whole adult life with the exceptions of when she was pregnant 3 times. My sister always very thin as well. Everytime we'd go to the grandparents or even at home food was constantly put in front of me and it's super hard to combat those temptations.

I became accustomed to using food for comfort in a wide array of situations until I realized I in fact had a food addiction 2 years ago. Overcoming my struggles with that has been one of the hardest obstacles so far.

I'm not all the way back yet. Two potlucks in a row were not kind to my weight loss. I do take responsibility for my choices though. It is hard to not want to take a little taste of all the things. A "little taste" can be very subjective in my eyes.

I think the most important thing is getting right back on track. I sure have had countless struggles. Especially with food choices and the scales. Great job getting back on track!

I weighed 177.2 this morning (2# gain) but I am now back on track and by Sunday will hopefully be back where I need to be. This will not get me down on myself - just need to pick up where I am and get back to work.

I am back from the retreat but I am a little nervous about weighing in tomorrow. I tried to eat as healthy as I could (except for scones I had) but it was not what I would have liked to have. They are used to cooking for kids for camps so it was a little different. Tonight we are eating roasted vegetables and a little meat to be more healthy.

It is a retreat for the church. It is for all the leaders of the churches that are in the "Rocky Mountain Region" and some of us who are support people. It should be a time of fellowship, learning and connecting with friends. My husband and I and another couple are doing a session on having a more balanced life. I need to talk to myself about that some days.

We are leaving today for a retreat that lasts until Wednesday. I am work on portion control but I do not have any control on what is being served. I will do my best. Since it had not been a week since I weighed (I do it weekly) I left my weight the same as it was last Thursday to get on the Sunday schedule.

Today we had very nice weather it was in the 60's it felt like spring again and I long for spring! I did not work out I had so many errands to do and hit 3 grocery stores and I absolutely got my steps in!

Yesterday I had a pretty rough day physically with the weather change (cold front came through) so I did not get goal steps in. Today is a much better day and I plan to go to the gym and get more steps than my goal to make up for what I did not do yesterday.
