I rode my gelding for 2 hours today mainly trotting and cantering down the trails. He is getting better with his balance and controling his pace and I can feel myself becoming a better rider as the weight comes off:)

Went to the barn and shoveled 3 days worth of horse poo. Two horses can make a ton in 3 days. lol Anyway, I was feeling energetic, so I took the wheel barrels all the way over to the big pile to dump instead of right outside the back door for the bob car to pick up. I am super proud of myself and got a great workout.

THis morning I did an hour of Zumba and then walked 4 miles in just under an hour! Talk about whipped out! My dogs are roaring instead of barking!LOL!

I would assume that I got in cardio today. I shoveled horse poo and then I played with Dell for about 3 more hours. We walked, we trotted, but we did not ride. I purchased a headstall and breast collar yesterday for her. A really great guy made them right in front of me. Took about an hour and wonderful quality. Anyway, I worked with Dell getting used to the bit again. We might be able to ride soon. :)

Oh, and I did the 10 minute toning for the new bootcamp challenge.

After Zumba this morning I walked the 5k route in 45 minutes. The race is May 22 and I hope to cut 10 minutes off of my time before then. I think I can! I think I can!!:)

I didn't get a lot of cardio in this past weekend but I did manage to walk A LOT in Brooklyn, NYC while I visited my sister and did some shopping!:) Had a great time and got A LOT of walking in so that counts for something.

Did my morning Zumba toning class for an hour then hit the sidewalks and did a 19 minute mile walking. Total was 2.10 miles in 40 minutes + an hour of Zumba= one tired Jenn!LOL! But I am feeling better and have more energy plus I recover better so I'm no longer huffing 5 minutes after I finish:)

Did my trusty elliptical this morning for an hour and did 2 miles! My butt is feeling that one!! Will try to go to Zumba in the morning but we are laying a new floor upstairs and not sure if I can sneak away before they start.

Did my Zumba this morning and didn't get to go to the park for my walk as I had to hurry home for a tractor tire repair. The tech was waiting on me when I arrived home but luckily he wasn't upset and had started the repair without me there. Whew! Hopefully tomorrow I can hit the elliptical for an hour or so as I haven't done it for about a month now. (At least this way my body doesn't get used to the same thing!LOL!)

After an entire week off of exercise and last week only doing half of what I normally did before the snot and hack hit, I finally resumed my normal routine tonight of Zumba toning class for an hour and it flew by! You can tell the weather is getting warmer because the class sizes are shrinking!

I've done pretty good the last two weeks with the cardio/ workout. Got my workout in this morning and I've gradually gotten up to jogging for 10 minutes straight... and that's after the elliptical and walking for 10 minutes. I'm getting there! LOL

I did an hour of Zumba last evening and today I did 2 miles in an hour on my elliptical. Now it's off the finish painting the hallway! I can't wait until my house is back in order- this remodeling stuff is getting old!

I soooo wanted to go riding since it was 60 degrees outside but I had to be gopher to the dry wallers doing out ceilings today. I did 2 miles on my elliptical though:)

I went to the ranch today, but didn't stay as long as normal. We are getting ready for rain, and we had high winds today. Should be like this for a few days so will have to work out indoors!

I haven't done any type of exercise other than barn chores in months, I must get back on the "horse".

I actually sent my HRM to get the battery replaced last week, so I am hoping to strap it on, and get going this weekend!!

Well I had good and full intentions of going to Zumba class tonight. I went up for class at the normal time and duh! I forgot it was Thursday and I missed the class by an hour! Oh well. I came home and jumped on the elliptical for 70 minutes and did 2 miles! I guess that will teach me to pay better attention to time!

I shookit a little too hard on Sunday evening Zumba toning so I took Monday as an off day of exercise. Today I hopped on the elliptical for 40 minutes and my sore muscles felt better after I exercised today.

Awesome job!!! It's great when you can work out doing something you like!

Just did 30 minutes on my elliptical and during the cool down the batteries died! Oh well, at least it wasn't in the middle of the workout! Then we played Just Dance 2 for a half hour on the Wii.

I did a grand total of 40 minutes of cardio. Well, according to SP anyways. I did:

20 minutes of Zumba
20 minutes of Pilates

However, shouldn't Pilates be considered strength training? After all, you're not really upping your heart rate much and you are using your body weight as you lengthen and tone your muscles.

I have added what I call the double stair route to my day. I teach on the second floor and go up and down 3 or 4 times an hour. Each time I take the stairs and double up one way or the other (down, up, down etc)then on to the next class. Want to get to doubling up both ways.

I found "farm work - general" in the cardio exercises. Because I do at least a couple hours of barn work every day, I think this is perfect! I know my barn chores have kept me strong and in good shape all my life.

I need a kick in the rear about the cardio... Got a gym membership but haven't been there in over a month now! Also have lots of fun videos (salsa, belly dancing, etc) that I've been too lazy to put in. I don't really count my chores, training jobs and walking my son to school, yes they are calories burned but they are a consistent part of my life... I need to do more! Need to find someone to get competitive with!
