sometimes it helps to change up what you are eating also - if you tend to eat the same things all the time, your body has this sneaky way of recognizing that....

Don't just wish for it, work for it...

Feeling your pain! This weight loss thing is getting on my last nerve. I am 74 and believe me, the older you are the harder it is to lose, especially as you get closer to your goal. The least I have weighed in the last 15 years is 179...and that was probably for a week or so! Now I have been going to a class once a week where they are encouraging us to drink a mix of powder and buy their products...and promising a nice weight loss. I have done this before, lost a pound a day, and although this sounds like a dream come true...go on to the rest of your life and your weight comes right back on {with fat friends} when you get back into the world of real food. The only tip I can offer is...keep a nice pace and add a bounce of spark every 5 minutes or so. Keep the spark going for the count of maybe 100, then go back to your regular pace. Your body wonders what you are up to and this seems to work for me. Good luck and don't give up...there is that body inside, screaming to get out...keep the faith!

have you changed it up? maybe doing the bike instead of the elliptical? or treadmill? (not sure if you need the elliptical for lower impact cardio). Sometimes it's just a matter of changing waht you are doing, or maybe, if you really like the ellitpical, try to go longer, maybe up the time to 45 minutes instead. Or up the intensity of your 30 minute workout or add some intervals. Hope that helps some! I know it's really annoying when you work hard and the results stop coming but there are ways to make it work!

I'm posting today due to the effort of not seeing any weight loss from my workout program. I have been working out in a gym about 4 times a week during cardio atleast 30 minutes a day along with strength training about 2 days a week. I started this work out program back in Sept 2009. The cardio training consist of elipitcal machine. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on this subject.
