Hello Pipover,

I have an average calorie burn 1800-2400 calories per week and calories allowance is 1200 to 1550. I seem to only be maintaining at these numbers. We are all different and need time to tweak what works for us individually. I find with the above mentioned calories burned I need to eat around 1250 calories a day to lose weight. I have a slow metabolism I guess.

Anyway welcome and best of success to you! emoticon

Hi there. I'm new to Spark - this is my 3rd day! - and I'm excited by the support I can see it providing me in my journey. I think it is this support that I have lacked in the past and the lack of which has led to my giving up.

To date I have clocked up 960 calories burnt where my weekly target is 560. I had a message warning me about the starvation mode and I put in my calories burnt target as 1400 for the week. My calories to eat didn't change at all (they stayed at 1200-1550). Does this mean I'm not in danger of my body storing fat? I have met this obstacle before and it is soooooo disheartening to do all that work and have no result - I definitely want to avoid that happening again...

I'd love to hear from any Spark-experienced people who can offer me some advice on this.

Thanks :)
