I haven't been feeling very well today, so have not done my video yet... I watched it though (always preview my workout videos before I do them) and it looks tough! Especially after reading everyone's feedback on the challenge message boards! I did take a 20 minute walk and plan to do some DONE Girl dancing this evening to complete my cardio. Plus I'm on the Quickfire challenge team and have done 3 of my 5 sets of squats so far...

EFFLORESENSE, i thought i would do fine on these since i've can get through almost 100 ab exercises on P90, but these were hard. the ones where you're on your elbows and have to bring your legs up and down really hurt my hips. pilates is very tough.

Has anyone else had serious challenges with the Day 2 abs workout? I know that my core muscles need some major major work, but I have to admit I felt a bit disheartened while going through it because I could only do about half of them even with the modifications I could understand would work for each of the exercises.

Really, this is the first time in the month that I've been on SP that I've felt down after a workout. I feel like I've let myself down that I couldn't complete all the exercises.

Day 2: That worked out well, did the cardio kickboxing & standing leg workout. Felt good - I can't believe how much I'm sweating right now!

I'm back for Week 1, Day 1! Woo hoo! My starting weight is 340#.

I'm not feeling well today so it was a bit of a challenge but I got through it and am better for it. I did the 10 min video and my 30 minutes on treadmill for 5k training.

What did you gals think of the video. I liked it. It reminded me of an aerobics class I used to go to.

Started Day 1 today. Weighed in at 250. Just finished the video and checked off all my challenge goals. Got lots of extra exercise in today just as a result of the lovely weather. Hope the rest of the challenge goes as well as my start day has!

I am so excited about this. Today was my weigh in and I have lost 4.2 lbs this week! YAY ME! So I am highly stoked about this challenge!

I just finished Day 1's video. I had to modify it a little bit. I'm still really out of shape. I'm a little afraid for the core workout day. I can't do crunches on the floor at all (I get really sharp pains in my stomach) Hopefully I can find an alternative!

I will do one thing today to make my life better.

I'm so excited about this and reading all the DONE girl love and excitement just fuels my fire. I started a bootcamp before and totally fizzled out after about a week. I am so ready this time! I see lots of comments about spark stalking and just wanted to welcome the willing to stalk me too. I may need it. I'm planning to do a photo blog this weekend with my current pics and measurements that way I can really see what kind of progress I make during this challenge.

Kathy Im no where near bathing suit ready I joined originally to try and motivate myself to guarentee 10ish minutes exersise daily with the workouts. Its a happy bonus we can talk about it here cus in the past I would just do the videos and not discuss it.

When I first looked at the challenge I almost didn't join because it says "4 Weeks to a Bathing Suit Body!" and that is soooo not me. I almost didn't join. But I liked the actual challenge and it pushes my exercise routine just a bit farther. Now that the DONE girls are in on it, it's a PARTAY!!!!

Saw this Bootcamp and wanted to do it, now that I see this awesome opportunity for more DONE girl bonding, I'm going to sign up now. I think this is just what I need to get my motor running again. Thanks! Looking forward to May 1st :)

As I've noticed MANY Done Girls join this challenge... I decided (with a thumbsup from WolfKitty) that us DONE Girls should have a place to discuss the challenge, encourage each other, keep track of things, and more!

Here's the breakdown of the challenge from the official page:
SparkPeople's Official "Spring Into Shape" Bootcamp Challenge will lead you through an easy-to-follow workout plan to help you get results in just 4 weeks! You'll need a resistance band and an ability to commit to daily exercise to succeed in this challenge. By completing the program, you'll earn a special SparkTrophy to display on your SparkPage, too. Join the Team anytime to start the challenge! Participate May 1-28 and you could win weekly prizes and be eligible for our grand prize: $300 to amazon.com!

The Done Girl with the high amount (pounds) of weight loss for the duration of the challenge will win "The Spark: Fit, Firm, and Fired Up in 10 Minutes a Day" DVD (featuring our lovely Coach Nicole!). And another participant will randomly be chosen to receive a Spark People keychain! My keychain often encourages me when I am feeling down or lost a bit, so I hope that I can't wait to Spread the Spark to one of you!


So... who's with me? Who's ready to Spring into Shape? We will officially start May 1st, but you are welcome to join the OFFICIAL challenge and post here prior to that date! :)

When joining... if you would like to be in the running for the "most pounds lost" prize, please post your starting weight on May 1st so we can keep track of "the biggest loser" hehe :p Can't wait to get started!
