I love that so many DONE girls are participating in this challenge. We can do it!!! I want to get (closer) to bikini shape and this is just the butt kicking I need.

Oops, sorry about failing to post my SW.

Anyway, I've been keeping up with the videos, and tough as they are I'm already noticing changes in the strength of my muscles. It helps to keep me focused and I feel great. Today will be the first day I won't be home until way too late to do my video, but I'll be doubling up tomorrow.

At least today I'm going to be active (going bowling for the first time in years) today. Just not following the exact schedule. Ah well!

Week 2, Day 6! I liked this one, felt kinda silly on the floor lifting my leg like that, but no one could see me anyhow. Other than the dog and I'm pretty sure she thinks I'm nuts regardless.

Jocelyn ~ I know it... reggaeton is one of my faves for SURE! I get down with it also. Haha... the instructor last week said that THIS week, I will be leading "She's Hot"... I would blush, but I know I am good at it (even for my size), so... I plan to work it :) LOL

So I have been signed up for this challenge (but slacking on doing it!)...but here are the Done girls for support!!! (Not sure how I missed out on this post earlier, but oh well!)

My weigh-in on Friday was 283 (but its right before TOM, so not sure if I'd consider this accurate). It's what I'll start with though!

I am glad to have another Done Girls place to keep me on my toes (especially with a challenge!). Yay!

Hey, Nix, Rompe is my favorite song from my Zumba classes. #1, I like Reggaeton, and the Zumba dancing that goes with it - I'm not too shy to say that I ROCK IT when we do that. I'm good at it, seriously. Aaaand, #2, the instructors I've had do some great choreography to that song; #3 I love the sound of that song.

Uhm...I think I'm a day behind. I actually started on May 1st, but I didn't "join" til May 2nd, so I'm a little bit...uhm...messed up. So today, I should be on Week 2, Day 1, but it's still showing me on Week 1. Pooh! I dunno. I just repeated one of the videos from Week 1, cause I didn't want to *not* do anything today. Anyway, please don't kick me out. I still want to play! Plus, I'm REALLY enjoying (most of) this challenge.

I'm starting week 2 today (and week 4 of 28-day bootcamp) and hopefully I can get through it. Its not that its too hard, I'm just sick right now, so any exertion leaves me pretty drained and my throat on fire. lol

ok so I did kickboxing on Sunday and flubbed out during some of the week cus was @ brothers and everytime I went to put on a vid I was pulled here n there by my nephew. I pln to acually catch up with all the vids this weekend lol. Im sad to say i gained 1.5 this week, but think will keep goal as is and try to make up for myself. I cant do the floor stuff so I also switched videos(sorry Nicole) My knees are shot and its sooooooo hard to get my royal rump up off the floor. Happy Moms day to everyone

Day 7: Arm day - my fave - I'M LOVING IT! went to boot camp bright & early, then did the video before hitting the shower. Now I'm off to volunteer at an aid station for the St George Ironman race. We will do the first wave with the girl scout troop, and then my daughter and I will go back tonight to do the last group (until midnight when the course shuts down) I watched from this same area last year, and it was heart wrenching to see the courage these athletes show.

Day 6 - early day at work, so I knew better than to try and fit in the video. Then after work the excuse started kicking in and I had to ask my self "Am I a DONE girl? Am I DONE whining? Am I DONE making lame-o excuses?" and then I answered "why, yes, YES I AM DONE being lazy!"

And now........... I am DONE with the video!

It's day 3 for me and I actually did half of my workout this morning! Which is amazing because I am so not a morning person. I did a lower body work out this morning so my thighs and legs are on FIRE! Just got to get my cardio done tonight.

It will take some of the soreness away and you will feel tons better. Stretching is like GOLD to me... I'd really pay for it, if I had to!

I have been sort of doing my own thing. I have issues having the videos load. The only one that sometimes cooperates is the boxing video. So, I've been doing a good deal of Just Dance and some 10 minute solutions videos. :) I love netflix! How's everyone else doing?

Did anyone else have a really hard time with day 5? I couldn't even figure out the mechanics of making my body do the half-standing postures, let alone manage to do them! Some of the yoga postures were a lot more familiar, though, and I'm definitely feeling it already.

this is week 1 day 4 for me. My starting weight for this challenge was 248. I have been doning watp for 30 minutes everyday, the only probelem I am having is doing the videos on spark it takes so long to load and it stops every few minutes that it takes like 20 minutes to do a 10 minute video. Is any one else havinng this probelem?

Day 5: Trying that old adage, if you do it first thing in the morning, you won't have time to talk yourself out of it. Did the abs video as soon as my son left for school. And then took the dogs out for a 4 mile adventure. We did W5,D2 of C25k down the hill (run 8, walk 3) and flipped that around on the way back up the hill (walk 8, run 3)

Totally, totally in. Starting weight is what it is - 325 - and I just finished my workout and video for the day. I liked today's video! I don't have a resistance band (which I should have got while I was at evil big box store this evening - where, incidentally, I got new undies with little boats on them) so I used three pound dumbells instead (borrowed from my neighbor). I kind of want to do it again. But only kind of. Instead I'm going to sleep.

Day 3: Some how, some where I realized I was mixed up and did the wrong video for Day 2. So, because of hormones & bratty kids & sore knees (at least that's my story & I'm sticking to it) I decided it was a great day to drop out of the challenge and just be done with it. After all two days of trying - why continue. So no video, but 6.25 mile hike with the dogs.

Day 4: Woke up feeling a bit better. Still embarrassed about the video snafu, and not sure I'm ready to go on. But... it is arm day, and I love arm day ........ so I cave and do the video. It feels ok, I guess (still not sold) Then I take the dogs out for our walk. 2 miles down the trail, then on the way home we walked 3 minutes, jogged 3 minutes. It was hard work going up the hills, but I felt good for doing it. I might even keep it up tomorrow.

Today wasn't that bad. It was day 4 for me and I tried to mix it up a bit for cardio with zumba, step aerobics, and boxing. I will be sore in the morning but it is worth it. Let's do it DONE girls. WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!

Today's day 4 for me. I'm doing SIS challenge and the 28-Day bootcamp. I'm on week 3, day 4 of 28 day.

I'm off today, so I'll do a lot of cardio today too. I just haven't decided if its going to be Zumba or 10-Minute Trainer. I guess I'll decide at some point today. lol

Got through day 3 easier than the last 2 days.... definately can feel it!!! I also did a 30 min walk this morning for my cardio... then got on the wii for another challenge I am doing. I have never exercised so much and really enjoyed it until I found SP and this Team!!!

I had a much better day today! Day 3's lower body workout was much easier for me than the first 2, plus I got a nice walk in (without rain!) and did my DONE Girl dancing. I also did some Triceps dips for my Quickfire challenge... I HATE those, but I got through 3 sets of 10... my goal is to get to 5 sets of 20, but I'll have to build up to that.

Done with day 3. The workout was fairly simple, had to make a couple modifications due to bad knee but still intense! I couldn't do the ACTUAL video for day 2 so I found a standing ab workout video on here and substituted it.

I will do one thing today to make my life better.

Day 2 done! Tough one! I had to modify a few of the exercises but worked out all the right muscles-- I know because I feel them now. lol

Got through day 2 .. emoticon was a little tough, I had problem with my lower back. Probably was my positioning I think, not sure. I actually tried to get through it a second time but my computer decided to do a reboot about half way through. Did my 30 min + of cardio walking this morning and doing free step on the wii, that and some other stuff.
Feels really good to keep my body moving now!! emoticon

WOOOOWWWWWW!!! Ok, so I know I am way more out of shape than I thought, but whoa that Day 2 was hard!! I'm a little scared about day 3, but bring it on. I may not do it all well, but I'm going to do them all if it kills me (and after tonight I'm thinking they might haha). I'm so glad to come on here and see that I'm not the only one that thought so. I also did 30 minutes of cardio kickboxing after. And now....I'm about to have a great sleep lol.

I'm doing it too, and had a hard time with the abs video as well. Seemed to hurt my hips a whole lot more than my abs. But at least it wasn't crunches!

holy banana split batman!! video 1 i always did before but video 2!!! i always avoided before because i have a knee problem... so i said screw it ima try anyway i could only do it until the knee part...but the stuff prior i was like wth!! damn!! but i at least did it! the cardio i go to the gym...i hope every one is GET'N IT!

Just joined the challenge today. I just got back from a 3 minute walk and am going to do double up on some of the videos over the next couple of days to ctach up! Have a great week everyone. I weigh in on Sundays so my stating weight is 233.6 am aiming high 10 pounds this month so goal is 223.6. I turn 40 on July 19 and would love to be under 200 if possible, so I am really pushing myself these next few months!
