July's mini-goal of some form of cardio every day happened!! Some days, just 10min, but done!! And I lost 4.2lbs!!

July Mini goal attained. Did my first 5K in 64 minutes 38 seconds. Wooohooo. It feels great to achieve a goal. How is everyone else doing?

My mini challenge is a 28 day exercise streak! (I didn't get all 31 since I was traveling home from vacay on the 6&7)

July:
11th - 5/28
12th 6/28
13th - 7/28
14th -8/28

Great idea! I have a lot of mini challenges and they are all about moderation.

1. emoticon Eat in moderation, especially at night. Make sure veggies (and some fruit) are the highlight of each meal.
2. emoticon Plan in moderation. Have a rough idea about dinner meals, but don't be too rigid.
3. emoticon Exercise in moderation. At least 30 minutes a day for 5-6 days per week.
4. emoticon Watch TV in moderation. Limiting TV to 1 hour in the evening is good, but not watching it at all is even better!!

Hi all, (posted mini goal last week.)

I was feeling down this morning, and didn't want to exercise, but knew I'd feel better after, so I told myself to do only 5 mins on the bike.

Well, it was over so fast, so I set it for another 5 doing hills. With the music playing, I hit it for another 5 mins with hills.

So, now my plan is to exercise hard in 5 min increments every 1-2 hrs during this summer break. It adds up, and I don't feel overwhelmed. emoticon emoticon

One of my mini goals is to train and finish with a walking 5K in less than an 1 hour and 20 minutes. I think that is a mini goal..
