Here are is a guy that has some exercise routines that might work for those of us with mobility issues, and other problems with your regular run of the mill exercise videos while we are transitioning to a healthier weight. I have done these with my mom. I have done the standing version and the sitting version. I was surprised by the workout it gave me, especially in my upper body. That is helpful, for when the majority of your exercise is walking. This helps to even it out. I guess you have to copy and paste, but....

Let's go Blue Team! Way to go week 1!

@LOSINGME73 I can definitely pick out some youtube videos. For now I will post one per week that can be included with our individual workout routines. You can pick how many times to include it in your week but I'd say 2-3 depending on length, difficulty and what your routine already entails. I haven't seen the sweating to the oldies in the longest time and I'm sure there are some more recent videos out there. I'll do my best to try and find some good ones. :)

@YAKIRA_AVIGAYIL I can't believe you found BB dvd's for less than $5, that's an amazing deal/steal!!

@CATMANDU emoticon emoticon on your loss this week!

@CARDSGIRL215 and @CORTINEA - I saw you didn't get a chance to weigh in yesterday, hope all is well! Please reach out if you need anything..I want to see our team grow and strengthen with each week and if there is anything we as team members can do to help please let us know.

***** VIDEO UPDATE***** So it looks like I can't post links within the forum so I've posted it as a blog on my page. It's a low impact 35 minute cardio workout.

I don't know if this is helpful for anyone, but our local Goodwill bookstore has several exercise dvds and I have gotten some of the BB dvds very cheap there ($3.99). Might be worth looking into if you have one. I have had to look several times to catch them.

I don't know much about other sites for videos, but on BB, the ones that I am currently doing are YOUv2 and the ones by Kathy Smith for diabetics (can't remember the name of that one offhand, but I can do them and I have alot of issues with pain and am overweight.

Hey Ladies! Great job this week getting in those activity minutes. emoticon emoticon

Only lost 1 pound this week but it's something and progress. I really need to focus on my foods and nutrition, mainly serving sizes. I'm sure there will be some kind of challenge on this in the upcoming weeks.

@LOSINGME73 since there are so many regulations in regards to your location how about I post a youtube video each week and we can all participate (if you want to that is, I know everyone has their own routine but it might help us grow as a team). I use the Beachbody DVD's but I mix them up daily to get a variety of workouts so I can easily substitute a youtube video instead. Let me know what you all think. I can vary them up from week to week from cardio, yoga, pilates, strength or even dance (I'm not a dancer so it will definitely be new for me) and range anywhere from 20-40 mins.

CORTINEA: THank you so much. I would really love to participate in a group workout using the same videos. Unfortunately, I don't have access to everything that you all do especially with new regulations blocking content from a lot of other countries. I can't even read online articles from my homestate because of the new regulations.

Do you know of any other sites that might allow international access? Is there something similar to beachbody that I could maybe find on youtube that I could do while you guys are doing BB?
Btw, I weigh 240lbs and have bad knees (i'm 5'3.25" so that is a lot of weight on my frame) are those videos something that i'd be able to do anyway or are they meant for smaller more fit people?

I have Turbo Jam, Hip Hop Abs, Rockin Body and Brazil Butt Lift. I was doing them faithfully and then last fall I fell off the wagon. I just recently started them back and also resubscribed for On Demand. I really want to do this right and keep it up this time. Since I kept my coach license with them, I can help with things concerning Beachbody. Just let me know. BUT there are lots of ways to work out..Either with them or without them, but I don't think you are going to find BB videos on Youtube.

It IS on amazon, but customs would be almost as much as the dvds.

Unfortunately, it seems they've stopped Beachbody on Demand internationally. It is only available in the following countries (this is from their site)

NOTE: This is an old post written July 2nd, 2016. Since then, Beachbody decided to stop Beachbody on Demand internationally and is only available in Canada, USA and the UK.

@LOSINGME73 Not sure if the beachbody videos are on youtube but they do have walk away the pounds and I go there sometimes for yoga videos. Some of the WATP videos are cut into 15 minute segments but you could put a few together for a good 30-45 or 60 min walk.

There is also beachbody on demand where you can access all their videos online but it's a monthly subscription and I'm not sure how much it is. You might be able to find a free trial tho to see how you like them.

Do you happen to know if any of those dvds would be available on youtube? I'm not entirely sure if they'd be available here. But, im game if i'm able to locate them for a reasonable price.

As for any plans...i'm not sure if you mean general or exercise.

Oh my goodness, ladies- I'm so sorry I just saw this. I had yesterday off and it was very chilly but I did get in a 30 minute walk with my hubby. I will try to up my game the rest of the week- been dealing with a gimpy ankle. =(

Hey ladies!
Great start to the week! emoticon

My friend had yesterday off so we decided to take advantage of the cooler weather and less touristy populated national mall and went for a 3 hour walk down around the tidal basin and a few of the memorials. We stopped every now and then and ended up going into one of the museums so I took some time off my running activity totals. We ended up walking over 10,000 steps in 3 hours and over 13,000 total for the day as we ended up going window shopping after. I'm going to post some pictures of my walk soon so stop by my page sometime if you want to take a look.

What's your plans for the rest of the week? I have some DVD's that I want to start up, they're beachbody so if anyone has any and wants to start it together let me know - or any DVD for that matter - just as long as we keep moving right. I also want to go to yoga at least twice this week.

Your challenge this week is to get the most activity minutes in as you can! Whether it's cardio, strength training, yoga, it doesn't matter! Let's get moving!! emoticon emoticon

The team that completes the most minutes of activity will gain immunity from eliminations at the end of Week 1!! emoticon


Please use a tracker to add up your daily activity minutes so that I can easily see tally it all up at the end of the week. PLEASE only use one post for your tracker and edit one tracker for the week so it is easy for me to see the information in one post. Please make sure to weigh in no later than Sunday at noon eastern time on November 18.

Hi everyone! This is my first done girl challenge and I am looking forward to it! I will friend all of you from the desktop version tomorrow, for some reason it doesn't work on the mobile... A bit about me: I live in Ireland, but am originally from Hungary. I lost 53 pounds since last October. As I am in this for the long run I joined the challenge to switch things up. Hope to have a good weight result, but I will mostly bring in exercise points and hopefully support for the team. Go Blue Team!! Cheers, Catmandu

Hey all, I participated in the fall challenge and only lost 8 lbs. I'm ready to go for the winter challenge and am determined to get 20lbs off (hopefully).
I'm really excited about this and this does so much with keeping me on track.

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be part of a team again!

Long story short, I used Spark years ago, was active and lost a great amount of weight. Life happened and I've actually gained same back, about 60 pounds from my lowest weight so I'm hoping the accountability here will help me get back to it and lose the weight gained back and then some.
