I have had some family and friend health issues lately and it has made my life more challenging than usual. One of the first things I stopped doing was tapping. When it could help me, I didn't use it. I need to keep working on consistency.

I'm slowly memorizing the Brad Yates videos, I've done them so much!

I really need to start tapping on more specific issues in my life. Sometimes I think of something that I need to tap on, but I don't because I'm worried about what issues it might bring up. Anyone else have this happen to them?

I've been doing Brad Yates "Tap o' the morning" and "amazing day" videos on you tube before work every morning, and I can't even begin to explain the dramatic changes I've seen in myself and my attitude at work. I highly recommend checking these out!!!

Find something that you do every day and do the tapping at the same time. For instance, tap before you brush your teeth or right before you prepare your breakfast. Sometimes it is really difficult to force yourself to do something with discipline but it is actually easy to just piggyback it onto something you do every day.

Good luck. It really does help.

I am finding that my months of structure that had me tapping on at least one thing every day along with the wonderful success I have with all my tools and techniques have brought me to a place where I really do remember to tap when I need to.

I guess it is like any habit--you spend the time and you eventually develop it.

Good luck to everyone with tapping and finding answers and solutions to the things that are making it more difficult for you to meet your goals and be totally successful.

Way to go. Feeling better is a good thing. Guilt doesn't really help. Next time you sit down to a really good meal, try tapping first on feeling full after eating a reasonable amount and eating slowing and really enjoying each bite.

I overate at dinner, because it was so delicious, I wanted to make the meal last longer. First I tried to deny I ate too much, then I felt a little guilty for being in denial, then I felt more guilty for self-sabotaging my weight loss efforts.

So I tapped on the overeating, denial & guilt. guess what? I felt less full, and happier.

It was beef lo mein. Found the recipe on SP.

Great work everyone. EFT really is an effective tool to improve our lives. It is so worth the effort to have it become integrated into our lives.

Thanks Judy :)

Today I tapped on all the ways I feel like a failure. It was funny how it popped up... at first I just thought I was tapping on procrastinating LOL. But, as EFT does, it opened up so much more. But BOY do I feel better this morning!

I did a lot of tapping this morning... and basically what it came down to was my need for attention. Oy. Getting attention makes me feel better about myself, but it's not long lasting - I need to find that acceptance within myself.

Sounds interesting. I need to just concentrate on tapping right now, I have a tendency to get too spread thin and accomplish nothing.

I keep having great things come into my life. The latest is Psycho-Cybernetics. I have been combining things lately and I have been very pleased with my results.

FAITH-I talk to God everyday and I thank Him for everything. It is easy to thank Him for the good stuff but I am finally able to thank Him for everything including the "not so good" stuff--past and present. Who I am is a result of everything in my life and I really like who I am so I am very thankful for all of it. I so appreciate where I am, who I am, my life, the wonderful people in my life--everything. So I say thanks.

EFT-I am still tapping but when formal tapping is less convenient, I do it mentally--saying the words silently and visualizing the tapping points. I particularly like tapping on having a great day.

Psycho-Cybernetics--I talk to my subconscious. I tell it what I want and allow it to find the "way" to get it done. I visualize things I know I want--like playing pickleball better. And I thank my subconscious for doing such a great job of taking care of me every day.

My happiness and satisfaction level is the best it has ever been. I am dealing more easily with the "stuff of life" that comes up. I am more forgiving of myself and others and I am getting more positive every day.

Doing this everyday is getting easier all the time. The results are so wonderful, it is easy to remember to do it.

Also I use TAT on very specific things on an "as-needed" basis.

I wish everyone a wonderful weekend.

I have been tapping on resistance and trust and safety. I like the idea of having a set time...I tend to squeeze things in whereever, whenever.

I was replying t a comment on my blog and I realized this belongs here.

I too found that even after I knew it worked (EFT), I didn't do it much. I think when you have "issues" there is a lot of resistance to getting rid of them. I have two thoughts on this. One is to make a time each day when you tap and just do it like you brush your teeth. The other is to tap on "resistance to tapping" and reassure yourself it is safe and OK t tap "stuff" away.

I was able to create a picture of the spreadsheet but it is too small to read. If anyone wants a copy, spark mail me with a regular e-mail address and I will send it to you as an Excel Spreadsheet.

There's nothing wrong with using the word "diet". It comes from the Greek word "diaita", meaning way of life. So to lose weight and keep it off we need to change our way of life.

Annie, that's great. I'm still so new to tapping I'm not always sure what to do. I'm in the process of watching the free intro tapping tapes. I'll have to go back to reference from where..

EFT works but I went for nearly two years tapping rarely (less than once a month). When I started my food and exercise plan in December, I did a spreadsheet with a page of things I want to do daily and another where I track food eaten and calories. I added tapping on 2 items a day on the daily TODO page. I sat one day and brainstormed all the things I would like to change. I proritized them into two groups; the serious and the wishful. Each day I do one from each list. To make it easy and to tap on an item more than once, I select 8 things (4 from each list) and tap on them in rotation for 1/2 month.

This is working really well for me. There are days when I am tapping away at 11:30pm but I do it every day. Also if something come up at any time, I will tap on it.

Just now for May all of my tapping items are from the serious list as I am traveling and seeing family and I want to deal with both as successfully as possible.

Please post your methods to tap regularly. I think it could be very helpful to others.

Thanks.
