Probably a combination of all of those factors.

I wonder if they stay so thin, because they eat more vegetables with their carbs and/or, because they walk more? Or perhaps genetics play a roll? and portion sizes.

It is like everything else, cards is a general term. When I was over weight I looked my baked potato, someone told me they were why I was so over weight. My Dr agreed, but said there is nothing wrong with a baked potato, it was all the toppings. I still love my baked potato, I just top it different.

Objects in the mirror will get thinner than they now appear

Thanks for the bookmark. The next time I get into a difference of opinion with someone who insists you can't eat carbs and lose weight, I'll have some additional ammo.

I think you have a great idea here. And the article was very interesting. They really eat a lot of food.

I think this would be a good thread to share thoughts on health, foods, exercises, "diets" or things you'd like to share? Things that you feel may not belong on the chat thread.

while I was on the treadmill today I was thinking about Asian diets and why they're able to consume vast amounts of carbs and remain thin.
I found this and thought it was interesting and worth sharing
