I have gotten off track this month because I have had the flu for 2 weeks. It has been awful! I even had the flu shot.

Got lots of exercise and walking in yesterday.
Handyman/gardener was here for four hours and we accomplished so much I can hardly believe it. Have to say I collapsed later with legs cramps. Get them from toe to groin when I over do it. Thank goodness for salt and hot water bottles. Was fine by bedtime and just bit sore all over today.
So grateful we got so much done.
Feeling good.
Mindful eating today here I come. It is a relaxing laid back day so I have no reason not to take my time and enjoy every mouthful and sip.

Got the bedroom window washed inside and out. Did the back verdah ones yesterday.

Today I am eating low cal within my limit for the day
I have gardened for 30 - 35 mins
I have completed 5 mins walking
I am being mindful of the decaf coffee I am drinking - it so often doesnt hit the sides. emoticon

My 2014 overal Goal / Focus

~HEALthy~ ~SPIRIT~HEART~MIND~BODY~ connection~

1. Spirit ---- continue to use mantra STOP LOOK LISTEN (Be Aware)

2. Heart ---- Pay close attention to my feelings.... & Honor my process

3. Mind ----- Pay close attention to my thoughts... staying Positive

4. Body ---- Pay close attention to my body... eat healthy... keep moving
try my best to loose @ least 5 lbs. per month until goal reached then maintain
I will be adding Jogging to my walking...

5. Family/Friends --- Make sure they know How Gratetful I am to have
them in my life & how much I love them

2014 will be a SUCCESSfilled year BECAUSE...
I am COMMITTED to making the lifestyle changes to be able to
live a HEALthy Balanced Life....

OK. Today is

Week 2 - day 1. So far things have been going well. Nothing like 100 % but my consciousness is getting reminded to both cook and eat mindfully. Well for me this is in the present moment. I think possibly they are the same thing. It is being fully present in whatever we are doing at that specific time. I sure am enjoying sipping my coffee and actually tasting it quite clearly right now.

Waked 5 mins.

Gardened 35 mins.

Debbie - In this challenge, we simply track our fitness minutes. Set your own goal as to how many minutes you wish to work out in January and keep us posted as to how you are doing. The following format is recommended (but not required.)
