im on the road to recovery - did a 5K on the treadmill in 39 min. IT band isnt so bad this time, but I have lost alot of cardio-fitness since I had to back off of running. working on it though! 2010 has been a great year and we are getting set up for an even better 2011!

run #3 for HM training, 3 miles slow, did fast/slow intervals 2 days ago and will be doing sprint intervals tomorrow. Have done a Pump and also Zumba classes for cross training this week. Might do a swim as well.

Yesterday: AMRAP in 15 minutes of 10 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 40 yd sprint....I did 10 rounds.

Today: 21-15-9 reps of 95lb deadlift, decline push-ups. This afternoon will be a three mile run.

Today was supposed to be a long run of 12 miles but feel like I'm getting dangerously close to having an overuse injury in my calves so I decided to take some time off. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make up the distance next weekend since I'm having eye surgery this week. Not sure I'm going to be able to make my goal of 70 miles now.

Great 7 mile run early this morning!

Goals:

May 17, 2008- first triathlon- DONE! 1:21:47

June 5, 2008- hit the 40 pounds lost mark!

June 7, 2008- my fastest 5k ever! 28:28

September 6, 2008- 2nd half marathon-2:12:38- 31 minutes faster than my first half!

February 25- Hit 50 pounds lost!!!

April 18, 2009- Salt Lake City Marathon- 1st marathon- finish time 4:34:47

Last night, cross training - walked 4 miles in 60 minutes on treadmill.

I have done nothing all week which is driving me crazy. My back is in really bad shape and I can barely move so no exercising for me. I had to cancel all my fitness classes or get subs and I have not been out of the house since last Saturday! It hurts to sit, stand or lie down for periods of time. Waiting to feel better so I can go to the dr but just waiting in the waiting room would be hell for me at this point. Ugh.
