Walked 5 miles as the trail was icy and snow covered. Didn't want to reinjure my calf. Did run 11 the next day though, on plowed streets.

whoa I'm impressed by all of you dedicated runners. I didn't run but I took the dogs and 3 willing family members for a walk between dinner and dessert.

Yes! I did 8 miles on the treadmill in my mom's basement. I live in Florida, but was in Michigan for Christmas. There's no way I was going outside to run, so I set up my laptop and watched a movie on Hulu while I did my 1.5 hours.

Gotta stick to the plan!

I only ran 1.5 miles to meet my mom at a local bike/walking path, and then walked over 3 miles with her. It was only 20 degrees out...I was gonna run back home to 1.5 miles, but my mom insisted on giving me a ride home...LOL Can't argue with mom on Christmas!

I was supposed to run today, but did 5 miles on our snow and ice covered lane yesterday to test out my new snow/ice cleat crampons right away that my "dogter" gave me on Christmas Eve :)

I did about 20 minutes of hills and those suckers really dug in :) FANTASTIC!

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!
