I can usually handle the 8 hours in bed thing. It's the vitamins that get to me sometimes. I take calcium, fish oil, flaxseed, iron, a multi vitamin, PLUS my diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure meds. Sometimes I just get "sick" of popping pills. I usually take them all but skip some days. This month WILL be a challenge for me to do this every day. Here we go . . .

Well I am gonna try it again. I will be setting 2 goals for the month of April.

Thanks for the support!

For me Subway was not off limits because of the healthy options that are available. I did eat there twice during the month and got a 6 inch sub, apples and bag of Sun Chips or Baked Lays. This is really not that much different than when I make myself a sandwich and chips for lunch. For me the real struggles came from Wendy's, McDonalds and a chicken place we have here called Raisin Cane's (that one is my real downfall).

Now for my March goal. I am really good about taking my vitamins and supplements on the days that I work however when I am not on my work routine, I completely forget. So this month my goal is to take my vitamins (multivitamin, fish oil, calcium and triple flex joint supplement) EVERYDAY!

emoticon emoticon I did it. One whole month. Thank goodness it was a short month. I know this is really terrible but I am looking forward to having some fast food tomorrow....don't worry I am meeting up with some local "Sparkers" and we are walking a 10K that was part of a challenge we were doing. Normally Sundays are my rest day from training but since I am walking tomorrow, I am treating myself.

Hope someone else can think of a good March goal and join me on these monthly goal challenges!

No problem! If I had a goal other than to run on my assigned days, I would hope someone would check in on me too! :) Sadly, I can't think of a good goal!

I am really struggling..... I will make it six more days but I image I will end up having fast food on day 7 emoticon

I have decided to try and start making a small monthly goal for myself and posting my daily results here to hold me accountable. If anybody else would like to do the same, please feel free to post here. Maybe we can all support each other this way. I know personally I have periods of time where my eating or my exercise are horrible and I am hoping this will help.

My February goal (can't believe tomorrow is February 1st) is: NO FAST FOOD for the month. Although I have cut dramatically back when I have my one to two cheat days a week, I almost always have fast food. There are so many other things that I like that I think I can still find plenty to cheat on without doing the fast food thing. I just want to challenge myself a little bit more so that is what I am shooting for. It's only a month. I know I can do it and if I don't hopefully someone on the team will give me heck for it so that I won't slip again during the month!
