Tuesday-I am grateful:
That my injured foot is healing.
I did my first aerobic machine for 11 minutes since my injury.
I was able to do yoga and balance a bit on my injured foot.
I am not limping as much as usual!

My first good night sleep in a long time.
My sister-in-law's release from the hospital, and being able to drive in bad weather to visit her and my brother at their home instead of the hospital!

being born in America in this day and age. Things are not perfect here by far. But when I hear of the violence against women in other countries ("honor: killings?), I thank God that I was born here and now where I have rights, even if there are those out there who want to turn back the clock

I am grateful to be a woman born in America. Things aren't perfect for women here but when I see the plight of women in other countries, I can't imaginer living or surviving anywhere else. I thank God for my life and letting me grow up in a country where I know have rights and protections (whether these rights are always guaranteed is a whole other story!)

I am grateful that I didn't set my home or building on fire--I left the iron plugged in ALL DAY! Thankfully it wasn't on, but still. I even went into the bedroom for a nap and didn't notice. I didn't notice until I had to use the iron. Thank you God for saving me from my stupidity

I am grateful for my life and that the Lord chooses to protect me from my own stupidity. I left the iron plugged in (not on, just plugged) and I didn't realize it for 2 days (which is when I last used it). My iron is toward the back of my bedroom on the side table and, although I pass by it everyday, i just didn't notice until I had to use it this morning. Unbelievable!

I had my Well Woman check up today and received words of praise from the doctor for a good start toward a healthier lifestyle. She was impressed with my weight loss and complemented me on my BP being lower and me walking more.

I like that OKIEGIRL! To day, I am grateful to be alive and in one piece. I got rear-ended in very slow moving traffic by a 19 year old who rammed into me as if we were going 60 mph. That was the biggest bang I have ever heard. I was shaken up after that, but no injury other the the trunk, that now won't close. His whole front bumper fell off

i am grateful that i can still breatrh and i don't suffer from the chronic shortness of breath that many people, now dependent on oxygen, have to deal with everyday/ all I have is a stupid stubborn cold. I couldn't sleep due to nasal congestion. I don't want to imagine what that feels like on a daily and yearly basis

I meant to write this last night, but I am truly grateful to God, Jesus, Mary, Joseph, St. Theresa (my personal saint) and St. Christopher and most definitely the Holy Spirit for allowing me to pay attention to the road and avoid hitting a lillte girl who, along with other children at 6 pm, were trying to cross a very busy 2 way street. Unbelievable and Thank God!

So often, we tend to focus on the negatives of the day. What we didn't accomplish, what made us made, etc, etc. This is a place to reflect on the day and discover what you are grateful for and what you give thanks for. There's always something to be thankful for.
Today, I am grateful that, first, I was granted another day on this earth. I am gratefyul that it was a relatively good day at work and that I got at least one thing crossed off my to do list.
