emoticon I won a 'consistency' trophy, so I guess I am doing good, I still need to lose a little more weight, so I will just keep doing food journal, drink water and walk. It is chilly now in

Well, October is here and it is actually cooler. emoticon
Didn't loose any weight, did give away lots of Spark Goodies to newbies.
Didn't exercise, at least formally.
I did move my daughter home the same weekend my husband came home after an appendectomy and gall bladder removal. Sometimes life just gets in the way and something has to go. For me, it was water aerobics and regular exercise.
That said, I am getting back on track today and taking a new work colleague with me to water aerobics.

"I pledge to lose 8 lbs in September (2 lbs a week),
and I pledge to accomplish this by: working my fitness plan consistently, staying within calorie budget 80% of the time, drinking water water water, and I will give a goodie a day."

This was my september pledge,

This is my end result. I did all those things...consistent fitness, staying in calorie budget, drinking gallons of water, and averaged at least a goodie a day, probably more!

But I only lost 4.8 lbs. emoticon

So here we go for October!

1) I pledge to use 5 pounds. I'd like to lose more and I will try but I'm also trying to be realistic.
- I've lost .8 so hoping tomorrow will be another big loss.
2) I will start using my EA Active 2 on a regular basis (5 days a week).
- still need to get on this one
3) I will give out 20 goodies (I have the points so I might as well give them away to brighten someone's day!)
- given out 9 as of today but I'm working on the rest and it will get done

Not a fantastic week last week. I had an altercation with someone who I thought was a really good friend...turns out I was wrong. So my husband and I ended up going out of town to go camping this weekend with some friends and I lost control a little. Back on track today though! Looking forward to some quality time at the gym and a super tasty dinner tonight!

I would like to jump into this challenge! I have been out of it recently. I just spent the last month planning a wedding and then got married emoticon

So, now back on track I go! This is what I pledge to do:

1. Lose 5lbs
2. Go to the gym or work out at home 5X per week
3. Give goodies as often as I can

KALYNWINN , GREAT JOB ON HAVING TRACKERS ! ! ! WELL DONE !!!! Loosing "weight " is as simple as burning more calories than you consume . I see you are exercising , THAT'S A GREAT START !!!! !!!! WE ALL HAVE LULLS ! ! ! I GAINED SOME WEIGHT WEEK AGO , BUT GOT IT IN TO GEAR AND AM NOW LOWER THAN WHEN I STARTED ! ! !! YOU CAN DO IT ! ! !! One of my favorite things Ive heard Jillan Michaels say is (paraphrasing ) " YOU CAN EAT YOUR WAY THOUGH ANY WORKOUT ! ! ! ! " For me that means that if I do 20 minutes of average elliptical ( burn 250 cal ) , then get of and have a 700 calorie breakfast ( easy to do ) my weight loss would be at a stand still at BEST !
I struggle with nibbling while I'm cooking . I know I can EASILY eat 500 calories just "tasting "!!!
If I log EVERYTHING that goes into my mouth , It makes it easier to know how many calories I have to burn that day !!! The BIG thing is that what you are accomplishing through exercise CANNOT BE MEASURED ON SCALE ! ! ! ! ! SO WHATEVE WE DO , WHATEVER E SEE ON THAT SCALE , WE HAVE TO KEEP MOVING !!!! LIFE HAS NO PAUSE BUTTON ! IF WE ARENT GOIG FORWARD WE ARE GOING BACKWARD ! AND THAT IS THE TUTH !!!!!

I would like to jump in and join this challenge. I have been sparking off and on for a few years now and been a member of this team for about a year. At one time I had lost 97 pounds but have regained over 40 pounds. Part of my problem is just not eating right but I also tore my ACL almost three years ago and it has been healing without surgery and at this point is about as strong as it is going to get. My knee does limit my physical activity but I am not going to let that stop me. I am committed to losing the weight I regained and then move on down on the scale. September is almost half over, but I would like to join anyway. I will:

Walk for at least 30 minutes every day.
I will drink at least 10 cups of water or unsweet tea a day and avoid sugary drinks.
I will control my portions and focus on eating healthier.
I will lose 5 pounds by the end of September.

KALYNWINN....since you are working out every day and eating well, it is possible that you have been building muscle. You could have lost fat and gained muscle and that could keep a loss from showing on the scales. I have actually gained weight from one week to the next but felt the loss of fat in how my clothes fit.

so far I am doin GREAT emoticon I was worried this week, for some reason, I didnt feel like I was losing anything, thought I might be eating wrong or something, I weighed in the middle of the week and gained emoticon What a suprise when I weighed this morning and lost, thats 2 weeks in a row for me! emoticon It has been a long long time since I lost weight 2 weeks in row. Well, I started September with good intentions but my knee is acting up so no aerobics for a couple of days. I did spend most of Sunday working in my yard and enjoying the cooler weather and my eating is still ok. I really want to get back on track with the daily aerobic work outs. emoticon

I want to lose 10 lbs by the end of the month. I plan on eating healthier, drinking more water and doing my Hip Hop abs 5 days a week. Its not easy but it can be done! Good luck to everyone this month!!! You can do it and reach your goals!!!

Well, I have tracked all of my food the last two days, and my eating sucks. But, it's always like this on the weekends, so I'm not surprised. It's always been easier for me to add exercise that to cut back on baked goods! I'm also having awful period tummy, not exactly cramps, but the feeling like someone has their hands in my stomach and wiggling their fingers. I won't be able to do any intense exercise today, but since there's cooler weather out, I will let my son ride his bike after dinner and push Maddie in her little pink car for at least 20mins after dinner today.

and I pledge to accomplish this by: working my fitness plan consistently, staying within calorie budget 80% of the time, drinking water water water,

It seems that when I don't focus on the scale, I loose more weight, and quicker too, so I will no longer be setting any weight related goals.

My goals for September are
*Exercise at least 20 mins every day*
*Drink my 8-10 glasses of water a day*
*Track ALL of my food, even my backslides*
*Give one goodie a day, and one for every one of my goals I meet every week*

1) I pledge to use 5 pounds. I'd like to lose more and I will try but I'm also trying to be realistic.
2) I will start using my EA Active 2 on a regular basis (5 days a week).

I pledge to loose at least 4 lbs. I haven't been able to break this plateau for a year. I went to Dallas Mania and worked out for 2 day this past weekend. I'm hoping to keep up the momentum by doing water aerobics 2 days a week, 30 min of cardio the other days and at least a hour of high intensity cardio on the weekend.

I will give a spark goodie to each new member.

I want to pledge 10 lbs for September. I have started walking on the mornings on Mon, Wed, and Friday. This in addition to the lunch time walks with friends and after work work outs.

I would also like like to lose 10 pounds this month. I've been going to the gym at least 5 days a week and haven't budged much, so this is my month! I will continue going to the gym but will work on not eating ice cream as much. Oh boy. So, here's to September emoticon emoticon

** I weigh about 261 . at the end of SEPT. I would like to weigh 250 lb . I PLEDGE TO LOOSE 10 LBS.

** I will use the 30 day shred and 45 min cardio a day in addition to logging my calories and food .
** I would like to exercise in the morning , have short cardio bursts during the day ( 10 min . elliptical ) and do strength training in the evening .
